The staff were fantastic, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Michele picked us up from the ferry and dropped my daughter back even though the times were not the shuttle schedule.
The rooms and everywhere were sparkling clean.
The meals were delicious and having dinner onsite each evening was definitely convenient for us.
The wifi was reasonably good too.
Only a short 10-15 minute walk down to Casamicciola Terme where there are shops, a laundromat and cafes.
The bus stops just outside the hotel driveway.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Villa d'Orta in Ischia!! The view from the room - over the port of the small town of Casamicciola Terme - was a highlight of my stay. A pleasure to have wake up to it, or have a beer on the balcony every afternoon. Apart from that, rooms are spacious and SPOTLESSLY CLEAN (housekeepers are kind and do a great job every day, thank you!). The staff - Michele, Giulio and Luca - are incredibly friendly and make you feel like family, giving you recommendations about activities and what's going on in the area. The breakfast was excellent too - it met all my desires as someone who likes pastries, coffee and fruit - and featured continental and English breakfast items too. In a nutshell, one of the best hotels in the whole of Ischia!! A bit of a pain to get to - you have to brave a very steep country road in the heat - but the view and the hospitality of the team makes it all worth it!! GRAZIE MILLE!!!!
PS. Ischia is not Ibiza and the guests were generally not my age (I am 33), but this meant a sound sleep and not having to deal with noise nuisance. But they were not all pensioners either, so I didn't feel out of place.
Nothing!! All fantastic. Of course, the location required taking a bus or climbing a VERY STEEP route... but that's Ischia for you!! A rented car or a scooter would be ideal!

We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their kindness and warmth. They were incredibly sweet and attentive, and it honestly felt like we were staying with family rather than at a hotel.
A special thank you for taking care of our luggage on our last day so we could enjoy a few more hours at the beach without worrying about our belongings. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our departure so much easier.
The facilities are very well maintained, and our room was clean, comfortable and well kept. The view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful, we could admire Ischia, Procida, and Naples from our room.
Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable. Your hospitality and genuine care made all the difference, and we hope to come back again someday!
