A jackpot. When you arrive, you’ll understand why. Only 8 minutes away from walking street and the epicentre of Railay and yet it feels like out of this world: pure nature, tranquility, no smell from the marsh water near the pier, no noise from the departing boats. Phutawan Resort exceeded all our expectations in every sense. If you want the crowd, you either take the complimentary hotel shuttle that brings you to walking street in 2 minutes or just walk for 8 minutes. If you want your peace, you just swim in the pool surrounded by the quiet greenery of Railay. The hotel gives you this kind of choice and after one walk through the centre of Railay, you will understand why this matters a lot.
The only negative aspect was the power blackout in the breakfast room that occurred several times every single morning. There is probably one device that needs to be replaced. This was by far the only negative issue that occured during our entire stay.
