Location right in the city center.
Could have been a bit cleaner, we had an incident that we can share in private if necessary.
While location is extremely good, it was unfortunately very noisy outside at almost 3 am.
Elevator was broken and we had to carry four luggage’s and backpacks ourselves

A once very luxurious hotel, with lots of potential. Nice rooftop with a view. Bed comfortable and huge shower and bathroom. Good A/C. Lush greenery in the courtyard. Basic breakfast included (not advertised on Booking).
No safe (despite being advertised on Booking). Staff mostly absent. Overall, this hotel has seen better days, and is slowly decaying. If you take a room on one of the lower floors, facing the courtyard, beware of the mosquitos!

This is the second time I’m staying at The Palm. Nice rooms with warm water in the showers (that’s not always the case everywhere), I love that it’s really close to everything but not too noisy. It’s located a few hundred meters from the beach, and also has a nice rooftop in the building. You can easily walk to restaurants, supermarkets and shops nearby.
Most of the staff isn’t speaking so much english and I’m not fluent in spanish, sometimes it’s hard to understand each other. But they are really friendly and we used Google Translate.

Location
Feels like an aging property. You can’t flush toilet paper. Ceiling was leaking. Made staff aware of leak but never addressed it.
