About this apartment rental
Elegant and luminous apartment on the 3rd floor of a period building, it enjoys stunning and uninterrupted views over the Vatican City and S. Peter’s dome in particular. It is located in the central Piazza Risorgimento, close to all amenities, popular bars, restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and it is only a very short walk to St. Peter’s Basilica and the entrance to the Vatican Museums. It is well served by buses, trams and taxis and it is only around 300metres to Ottaviano tube station.Accessible through two short flights of stairs and a lift, the apartment features high ceilings, hardwood floors and excellent quality finishing materials. It is tastefully furnished with fine furniture, attractive pictures and beautiful lamps.It is composed of a double bedroom with an European super king size bed (170cmx200cm), walk-in wardrobe with a safe; an en-suite bathroom with double basins on a marble top and floors, WC, bath, shower and bidet; a fully equipped built-in tiled kitchen with marble worktop; a loo with WC and basin; a double lounge, sitting and dining area, with leather and fabric sofas and armchairs. One sofa features a simple fold-out mechanism to form a European king size bed (160cmx200cm) with a very comfortable mattress. An extra folding small bed for a child is available on request for the bedroom and two high chairs for the dining table. Other amenities include: LCD TV, CD and DVD player, WIFI, dishwasher, wash machine and tumble dryer, air conditioned in the bedroom and a fan in the lounge.The location, the views and the decors give this apartment a very nice feel and make it the ideal accommodation for a holiday with family or friends in the eternal City.

This apartment is wonderful in size and location. The kitchen is wonderful and we used it for coffee, espresso, breakfasts, and one dinner meal. The only two negatives I have are:1.) The unit is advertised as air conditioned. But only the master bedroom has an a.c. unit and condo rules state that it must be turned off at 11 p.m. 2.) The double sofa bed is unusable. It is in such bad shape that we had to use multiple blankets and comforters from the closet to try to even out the low spots. The foot of the sofa bed is broken and propped up with cushions. It was nice that the host had it set up for us at check-in. Overall, we’d stay here again. Just know that you’ll need to wait until sunset to return, so you can ventilate.

I stayed here for six nights over the New Year's holiday. The apartment is in a convenient location for anything you want to do at the Vatican. Getting to the sites in Rome is either a quick walk on Ottaviano to the Metro stop or one of the nearby bus stops. At this time of the year, the sun shines brightly in the apartment. The rooms are spacious. The dining room table is large giving you space to spread out. The kitchen is designed well. Getting in and out to the building is easy with the key fob and the key.
