My husband, teen daughter and I stayed in this apartment during our trip to Rome. It is in the prefect location to be able to walk to all of the history you will want to see. Plenty of restaurants to choose from right outside your door. The apartment had lots of room, so much character, cute tiny balcony. It does get noisy at night but that really did not bother us as we were so tired from all of the walking. Bring earplugs though if you are a light sleeper. The four stories stairs leading up to the apartment are a tad narrow but they kept us in shape. We would definitely stay here again!

Apartment was in the center of everything. A 20 minute walk in any direction will get you to all the main attractions. The apartment was spacious and it was easy to communicate with the hosts

We stayed at this location with 2 adults, 2 teens and a 4 year old. The building is old and full of charm. We did not find the stairs to be an issue even though we all had large backpacks to carry up. They only added to the unique experience of staying in an older building. The location is excellent. We could walk everywhere with our 4 year old, including Trevi fountain, the Collosseum, and the Vatican. The Piazza comes alive at night and we all enjoyed evenings spent eating gelato and people watching. The property managers were so helpful in ensuring that our family arrived safely and without any stress. We would highly recommend this location. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place!

My wife and went to Rome to visit our daughter who is studying overseas. We decided to search for a property near where she was staying which is Campo de Fiori. We quickly found the great two-bedroom walkup which is just steps away from everything in Campo de Fiori which it turns out is one of the premiere locations in Rome. The owner was great with communication and even arranged our airport transfers. We were met at the property and were given a quick tour. The apartment is large and has two comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom is newly renovated, and the kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher and washing machine. The location is the best. We walked to the Vatican and all of the other major sites in Rome. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who does not have mobility issues. Thanks to Gabriele and Claudia

Nice stay for a week during Christmas, short walk to all the attractions in Rome. Apartment is in a very old building so the steps are not for the frail. Apartment was nice and clean furnishings are dated but everything was fine. Transportation from and to the airport were arranged which was a nice detail we didn’t have to worry about landing in Rome at 10:00pm.

Our host met us to let us into the apartment, which is between two loud piazzas. Some reviews complain about the noise, but we had a sound machine. We stayed over new years and had noise until 2am. That was the only night the noise really bothered us. The apartment is such a fun old building, from opening the main door with it's worn knocker to climbing the well worn stairs transports you back to ancient Italy. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of linens and towels left for us. Well stocked with a hair dryer even. We would stay here again, even with the 4 flights of stairs!

Great space in the middle of everything. Hosts are beyond GREAT!!! Word to the wise there are 4,flights of 16th century steps to climb. If you are mobility challenged, this could be a problem. VERY noisy at nights, especially on the weekends

This home was beautiful and spacious. There is a darling patio and the rooms are large. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to almost all of the main sights in Rome

Excellent location. Could walk to absolutely everything including The Vatican. Air conditioning was a saviour in the August heat wave. A few small maintenance issues, loose tiles, etc. But typical given the building's age. Stairs up to the apartment are steep and narrow. Wasn't an issue for us, but should be considered for anyone who may have mobility issues. Overall, great stay, great location.

Enjoyed our stay near Rome's top sites ( between Camp di Fiori and Piazza Farnese- my favorite Piazza). Lots of room for 5 people, clean, effective AC in all the bedrooms. Plenty of character and charm. Hosts accommodated us in checking in early and tried to be helpful to us. Drawbacks are: no elevator ( pack light, there's a washer), some maintenance issues which is usual for historic properties ( loose tiles), and no toilet paper ( minor over sight- we just bought some). I would still stay there because of all the positives were more important to us.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for our 5 days in Rome. The location was fantastic, within 1 mile of every major attraction in Rome. The apartment was very large and comfortable for the 3 of us. If you are considering this apartment for your trip to Rome I would highly recommend, everything was smooth and wonderful.

This property was perfect for our family of five. It was much more spacious than the pictures show. Each space had its own completely functional air conditioner which was heaven given the summer heat. Everything was within walking distance. We would stay here again!

Apartment is in a fabulous location in the Campo di Fiori, lots of restaurants and a market in the morning. Newly renovated bathroom, beautiful little balcony. Communication with owner was great! Would've liked a little more info regarding what was on site for coffee, etc. Really missed having an elevator - all in all, it was a great visit to Rome

Campo Fiori is an awesome location to call home while visiting Rome. Great old (aged) apartment, well appointed and comfortable. Yes, bar downstairs is noisy into the late night-early morning hours. I read on reviews this could be an issue, so brought ear plugs and I quite highly recommend this or headphones. For me, I would go back because the location was really ideal for walking every direction of Rome’s city and the noise was manageable by me.

I was excited to stay in such a delightful delightful area with so many restaurants and stores nearby. It's also very close to catch public transportation. Also the help from Gabriele to set up a ride for me both ways from the airport was wonderful. The apartment is spacious and I was grateful for a gentleman who met me and helped me get settled. I wish I would have asked more questions about using the laundry machine, coffee maker, etc. Be sure to note that there are more than 5 sets of stairs to get up to this property. No elevator. After days of walking around this was one thing I didn't look forward to. Be careful to not roll your luggage on the cobblestone more than necessary. My wheel broke on my large suitcase before checking in and I had to throw my luggage away after an interesting trip trying to get it home. The hardest part of my stay was the noise at the bar. There are tables set up right below the windows of this apartment and I struggled to sleep until the last night when the bar closed a bit early. I went to bed around 2:30 am the other 9 nights when things quieted down. It's something to consider. You will probably want earplugs and/or a white nose machine. These people know how to have fun and it shows by the noise level in this area. Unfortunately the windows don't block out the noise very well. You have to either embrace it or bring something to help with sleep in my opinion. We would consider staying here again in the future. It's charming and has the things we needed.

We had four of us, including a four year old, and the two full-sized bedrooms, plus full living room, hallway, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom, provided enough room for us to move about and breathe. When the little one went to sleep, we had enough room between the bedroom and dining room to stay up and enjoy some wine without fear of waking him. All appliances worked, and were put to use. Our arrival from the airport and departure back to the airport was seamlessly & effortlessly arranged by Gabriele, with a friendly driver that cost less than a Taxi or Uber would have. Great Apartment in the Center of Rome. Could not ask for a better location and the size of the apartment was huge for Rome standards.

Gabriele and his wife were so very helpful and gracious with our stay. The location was perfect for my mother and I to roam the streets of Rome. They made the check-in and out process seamless and always available to help. I highly recommend this property, just be ready to climb some stairs, but it was totally worth it for us.

The property was well appointed and in a great location. The amount of stairs one had to climb to enter the apartment were imposing, but on the other hand kept one in shape. The noise from the nearby bar did not bother me and could be reduced by keeping the window closed.

This is an absolutely lovely apartment, very traditional in style, but with a fully renovated kitchen and bathroom. We were met at the door and given a great tour and lots of useful advice for our stay. The location is ideal — close to everything and steps from taxis and buses. There are dozens of shops and restaurants nearby. The stairs are steep and the square below can be noisy on the weekend — we brought earplugs. But if you can manage those two things, this is the perfect Rome oasis.
