Bearable

Clean, Good location near shops

- Unavailable staff - irresponsible staff: Gave us wrong room - Not efficient service: Staff gave little to no response to our queries, left us in the dark - Facilities did not work: Fridge and Heater stopped working, extension cable not working - Ordered for airport transportation service but it was not arranged (despite the property saying they would arrange for it) we had to hail a cab and arrived to the airport later than our expected arrival time.

Onpersoonlijk Guesthouse centraal gelegen in Myeong-dong

Guesthouse ligt centraal in de wijk Myeong-dong en vlabij het metrostation.

Vanaf het metrostation moet je eerst een flinke klim maken naar het gebouw waarin dit Guesthouse is gesitueerd. De entree is aan de kopse kant. Je komt binnen in een slecht verlichte hal en dan is de frontdesk op de 4e verdieping. Inchecken gaat heel onpersoonlijk via een iPad die aan de wand is gemonteerd. Dit vanwege COVID. Het duurde zeker een kwartier voordat er reactie kwam en nadat we ook nog via Booking een bericht gestuurd hadden. Via Booking werd er verder gecommuniceerd. We kregen het kamernummer door en het paswoord van het slot op de deur en de wifi-code. Niemand gezien. Kleine kamer met een tweepersoonsbed en aanpalend een kleine badkamer. De douche was pal naast de wasbak en middels een draaiknop kon je schakelen naar wasbak of douche. Niet vergeten om te zetten anders ben je voordat je het weet weer nat. Er loopt wel een heel vriendelijke geen Engels-sprekende Koreaanse, die daar de huishouding doet. Via Google Translate konden we duidelijk maken dat we nog twee handdoeken (formaat 30x50) nodig hadden. Die kwam zij brengen, heel attent. Het is een onaangenaam gebouw. Als je er alleen wil slapen en geen eisen stelt, het kost natuurlijk ook weinig, dan is het prima. Op de BG is een wasmachine en daar kun je binnen 35 minuten een wasje draaien. Voor 1000 WON haal je wascapsules uit een automaat. Wasmachine werkt alleen met munten, er is een apparaat waarin je biljetten kunt omwisselen voor muntgeld.

Had to change room couldnt stand original room given. 2nd room better but will not stay there again.

In myeondong near station. Comfy big beds. Big room. Has elevator. Beside 24hr convenience store

Dirty and old had to change rooms. No reception talking to an ipad (imessage) provided broken slippers. No bath towels just hand towels. Shower hose connected to faucet sink. Everything whole bathroom gets wet coz no divider. Building Up in a hill. More like apartment rather than guest house. Original room had stairs from door to room hard with suitcase and stroller.

Great location, good and very clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff.

However, check-in at 3PM can be quite annoying when arriving earlier after a long trip.

Host was difficult for communicate, unresponsive, ignor with request.

Location close to attraction, transportation and convenient store

No people presence during check in. Communication just like one way of command without inform any reason, nor listen with any feedback and request. We have booked for three nights and were assigned with the bigger room just for one night which we did not request and agree. Our short trip were interrupted and changed by urgent call for evacuate to another room during middle of our travelling.

The location is very near to Myeongdong and easily accessible.

There’s no staff to handle issue on checking in or any other inquiries. Not responsive on KakaoTalk as well. Big issue for people who check in late.

Great location but there are better options

The location was great and the washing machine in room was very convenient

The room had not been cleaned at check in, beds unmade, hair on the counter. The Wi-Fi didn’t work the entire week we stayed and they did not provide any replacement toilet paper.

Great venue but bad front desk service

Location was great

Staff was 45 mins late for meeting me on 2nd day for payment. Staff was not flexible and didnt allow us to leave baggage in accommodation till 6pm and insisred that we need to pay baggage charges on hourly basis.

Very good

Hotel is only a short walk from central Myeongdong, with a quick access to both, the tube and the buses. There are cafes, restaurants and an EMart within a few minutes from the hotel. Room was well-equipped and relatively clean. Nothing too crazy, but comfortable, convenient and more than enough for tired people after hours of sightseeing.

communication with the host could be a bit better, we've agreed on an additional bed weeks in advance yet it wasn't there when we've arrived, causing a bit of a chaos for the next 24 hours, thankfully all was resolved.

Exceptional

i love the quiet surrounding it has! and the room is so big. the queen bed is so comfortable and we can cook in the kitchen. it has complete equipments, tv, kitchen utensils, mugs, plates and many more. the shower bath also smells so good. had a good stay there! if i would come back, i will definitely book here again. thanks

Clean, near public transport. Portable electric plate Kitchen utensils Luggage Storage room on payment at ground floor

No response on messages/chat. Not informed by hotel that late self checkin is at level F(third floor) through message chat on wall mounted tablet screen Blankets very small and thin only 2 blankets for 2 double beds, not good enough for family of 4. No remotes in the room for split system. No room heating was provided. Just hand towels were provided, no full size bath towel.

Great location with an even better view. Good, clean rooms.

It was a great space with a great view and spacious.

It wasn’t ready for check-in but the staff were extremely friendly and assisted us quickly.

The price is affordable and location is superb

I love the location. I love rooms with kitchenette.. Room is spacious and clean. Most Klook Tour pick up is less than 5mins walk To Myeongdong Exit 2 Pick up/drop off. Soo convenience.

The wall is thin. Can wear people talking and walking from the room.

a guesthouse that can’t expect much then won’t be disappointed

location is strategic

no towel provided, just face towel, the washing machine provided is coin based n the dryer couldn’t fully dry clothes despite after 1.30 hour. Wi-Fi was off a day prior our departure.

Great value for money, will definitely return.

Location is unbeatable. A short walk from Myeongdong street and Namdaemun market, very close to Namsan Tower Check-in process was very easy.

Good

The room was small but clean. There was an electric kettle with cups provided. Good location, near the Namsan Tower and Myeongdong shopping area with a good variety of restaurants and cafes.

The towels provided were very small, could use with bigger ones. The room was small but this seems to be common across accomodations in Seoul.
