About this cottage rental
Located in McMinnville, this charming cottage for $175 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Take comfort in this fully equipped historic Cottage. The home has two bedrooms, one full bath. The beds are double, smaller size.Laundry area is located in the basement. Washington Cottage is kid and pet friendly with a kitchen set up and ready for quick meals, snacks or gourmet dinners created with the abundance of local fare. The Living Room and Dining Room accommodate 4 - 8 for larger gatherings. The private, fenced backyard has a deck with picnic table, garden boxes, firepit and outdoor seating. All this allows for larger gatherings and celebrations. The home has a TV and wireless internet. Well behaved, small pets are welcome in the cottage with an additional deposit. The backyard is fully fenced. A basement is available as well. This cottage, built nearly one hundred years ago, has the size of rooms that were common in that time. Rooms are cozy in size. The central location is perfect for walking to Historic Downtown McMinnville. Linfield College is just 8 blocks south of the home. This is a no smoking property. This property is located in an area of single family homes. It is expected that guests will be respectful of the neighborhood. Such a cute little property. Across the street from a church, so there was some activity with their events, but nothing too late or raucous. A generally quaint neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown. Nicely appointed and cozy.

This sweet home was everything we were looking for while at a wedding in McMinville. It was close to downtown, had parking in the driveway, had a neat backyard with a fire pit and bbq and the home was perfectly equipped for all of our needs. The owner was friendly and communicative and I would recommend her home to anyone. Thanks for a great stay; we’ll be back!

This historic house is perfectly up dated with keeping all the details that give it historic charm. Very clean with all the amenities. Every detail was thought of. We felt so welcomed and appreciated. We got to enjoyed the wonderful back yard and fire pit table. The beds are so comfortable, I’m always so pleased when the host know the importance of getting a good nights sleep in a comfy bed. Thank you so much for having us, we hope to visit again soon.

The Washington Cottage is adorable. It had everything we needed and more. The shower was hot and the bath towels were soft. The furniture is comfortable and the house was immaculate. Off street parking was easy. Only a few blocks from all the activities of Third Street.

I cannot say enough good things about this property, the house was clean and inviting. There was so much thought to the detail of our stay. So many nice touches, Chocolates by the door, extra coffee, a bowl of granola bars, littles extras in the cupboards and fridge that made our stay extra special. The owner has thought of everything to make this a true home away from home

We really enjoyed staying at this home. The location couldn't have been better, only a few blocks of a walk to trendy downtown. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to make meals and the home was emaculantly cleaned. I also really appreciated the little extra touches the owner does to make sure guests feel welcomed.

We enjoyed our stay at Stacey’s house. The house is so cute and was the perfect size for my husband and I and my son and girlfriend. It was Helpful to have a washer dryer in basement. Kitchen was well stocked and the common space was comfortable. We loved walking to downtown McMinnville for dinner. There were a number of homeless people hanging out on church grounds across the street but it was not a problem for us. We loved the cozy backyard and the lovely landscaping. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed here on a brief visit to OR wine country. The house is cozy in a great location, and the backyard is paradise. Walkable to lots of restaurants, shops, and bars in downtown McMinnville. Would definitely stay here again!

Washington Cottage is a fully equipped, well cared for, comfortable house in downtown McMinnville. The cottage has beautiful plants and flowers in the front and back yards, even a blueberry bush! The backyard has a comfortable seating area to relax or enjoy dinner outside. From the house it is a short walk (5 minutes) to main street, which has lots of restaurants and shops and a grocery store. We stayed for a week and still had some restaurants we did not have time to try. There are numerous wineries nearby to visit and some smaller towns like Newberg, Dundee and Carlton. It is also only about 1.5 hour drive to the Oregon coast. Central to lots of things to do! The only concern we had were the double beds, as they were actually full sized, not queen like expected. So if you or your guests are not used to sleeping in smaller beds, it might be a problem. However the house is clean, comfortable and is fully stocked and ready to welcome you! The host was easily contacted. One more thing, the wifi network and password are not the same as listed in the check in directions. Look for the update on the house booklet on the entryway chest by the front door. It took us a minute to figure that out. But all in all, this is a spectacular cottage and we would definitely stay again!

I stayed 4 nights with my little dog, who also enjoyed the back yard! I was also pleasantly surprised at the close location to everything, I was able to walk to everything, including walking up to amazing 3rd street with all the shops and restaurants, to my sons place on 3rd. It is the perfect place for a small group, and I will definitely book again….it felt like my home away from home. Thank you Stacey and team!!!
