About this house rental
Situated in Sanibel Island, this attractive house for $646 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to our Tropical Captiva Island Vacation home-away-from-home. We decided to name our home Sanga Na Langa which means No Worries in the Fijian language. Nothing is more fitting after you experience a week or longer at the home and on Captiva Island. Our vacation rental home has been completely updated with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a game room, private heated pool and more. There is a spacious main level with living room, dining area, open kitchen, two bedrooms and one bathroom. Just off the dining area and living room is a screened lanai with seating and additional dining. The master bedroom is upstairs with a comfortable king sized bed and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs is another guest bedroom, sitting area and game room. We've just added a bunk bed with a full bed and twin on the ground level. On the ground level there is another screened seating area looking out to the private heated pool. Should you want to catch some sun, we have plenty of chaise lounges and pool side seating. The entire area is fenced in and private. Access the world famous Captiva Island beach at the end of the lane. As our home is located in the Village Area of Captiva, you can just park your car and walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We look forward to welcoming you to our new vacation home soon!

My family of 8 really enjoyed our stay in Captiva. Even with the impact of the hurricane still evident, we found enough places open and enough things to do. The property is very clean, and the location is excellent, even closer to the beach than it seems. The amenities (kitchen items, towels, etc) of the house were as described and there was plenty of everything. There was an issue with a screen door and the hot tub, but both were corrected promptly. My only complaint is that the lower level was described as having a full living space with couches, chairs, refrigerator, tables, etc. This is one main reason we booked this property as we have teenagers and wanted to make sure they had a place to hangout. Unfortunately, with the hurricane, the lower level had to be remodeled and the furniture was not replaced at the time of our visit. This wasn’t communicated and we didn’t know until we got there. I wish we would have been told in enough time to book a property that better suited our family or would have been offered a small refund since we did not feel we were given the same amount of living space we paid for. I hated to have this blemish on an otherwise excellent property. If the lower level could either be furnished as advertised or described as it now is, I would not hesitate to stay there again!

We normally stay in South Seas and decided to try something different this time. Great house and amazing location. We really enjoyed the pool and the house was plenty big for our family. Will stay here again.

We had a fantastic week at Sanga Na Langa! The house is lovely and well-supplied. It was quite clean, with the exception of the areas that we all tend to overlook in our own homes, mainly the dishwasher filter, & a musty smell in the upstairs washing machine (both of which we took care of ourselves). There is a second fridge and washer/dryer in the basement and the big grill on the pool deck works well. As others have indicated, the house needs plastic plates and cups that are good for little kids and taking out to the pool.
The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. With the exception of plasticware, the kitchen was very well stocked! The Sonos system was great for being able to play music throughout the main living space and on the back porch. We loved being able to walk into the village and to the beach within just a couple of minutes.
We were able to use the game room, but it needs some attention. The slot machines are difficult to open and one of them has a broken-off key which made doing so nearly impossible, the big game has a broken screen which rendered it unusable, the air hockey table wobbles, and the shuffleboard table needs to be treated so that the pucks slide as intended.
The management company was very responsive when we called to ask about the game room and came to do what they could to make it work better.
The house has several beach umbrellas in good shape; the chairs were more beaten up, but would still have worked if we didn't have our own. We didn't need to use the beach cart, but we saw it in the garage and it looks like it's in good shape. There are no pool floats, so if that's important to you, bring your own or plan to buy them when you arrive. Our kids loved the cornhole set!
One thing that is not clear in the listing: The basement is accessed by going down the stairs, outside into the garage, and then back into the house. If you've got little kids that you're planning to have sleep down there, you'll need a monitor if you want to be able to hear them from upstairs.
We had a wonderful time staying at Sanga Na Langa and would not hesitate to book this house again. Many thanks to the owners and management company for facilitating a great week.

Wonderful vacation and time with family in the beautiful home. We all loved the swimming pool! Great Vacation Home!
Beautiful spacious home on a great street! Close to the beach and restaurants. The basement set up was perfect for our kid's quarters. They loved it. That is when we could get them to come out of the pool. Very nice pool, hot tub, and outside area. Could use some plastic dishware for the kiddo's. Great place, we would stay here again!

We had a wonderful vacation week at this property. It's a beautiful home. We loved the pool, the children also loved the game room...a definite bonus! The description of the property made it clear there was a second floor but we neglected to order a gate for the bottom of the stairs (we had a toddler with us). We managed to barricade the stairway with chairs but we should have rented a gate! Also, the 4th bedroom was too far away for us to use with young children but it would be perfect for another couple or a teenager.
FYI, we noticed that the railing on the right side going upstairs from the pool to the porch is very wobbly. It wasn't a problem for us but you may want to look at it. This is a GREAT home. Thank you for renting it to us! I appreciated the quick communication with Ryan via email and text whenever I had a question prior to arriving at the home. We also appreciated the referral for renting a crib for the week.

When we visit I next I do hope to see some more family friendly dish wear (currently it’s all glass and no kids cups/bowls), as well as actual pump hand soap would be nice (bar soap by sink at this price point?? Come on!). Other than that it was absolutely perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, our group of 6 enjoyed the space of this house.The outdoor ammenities were appreciated, other than the hot tub. They were very helpful.

The house was great.
The house was great. We really enjoyed staying there. There are a few things that could make a stay there even better.
Kitchen - there are not really any unbreakable cups or plates. We were nervous about taking glass into the pool area so some plastic ware could be great. Also, we could not find a large pot that could be used for boiling seafood or pasta.
Bedroom - the mattress in the queen bedroom in the back of the house tended to sag in the middle.
Master bedroom - the master closet was not very well lit. I think maybe some bulbs need to be replaced.
Games - We could not get the two slot machine games to work but enjoyed the other games.
These are not meant to be complaints but suggestions. We really loved our stay in the home. Hopefully we will be back sometime.
They were very helpful. Before arriving I had a few questions about things that might be at the house which were promptly answered. While there, we noticed a few things that were not working so I called just to make them aware. It was nothing that needed immediate attention. They were very helpful.

The property is in a great location, and the pool/hot tub is fantastic. The condition of the house, furniture, kitchen appliances, dishes, and utensils have declined noticeably in the last couple of years. For this reason, we may not rent this house again and will look at other options.

Our family had a wonderful Christmas spending time in the heated pool and hot tub, walking down to the beach and collecting shells, and playing games together. The property is also in a great location, walking distance to local Captiva establishments like the Mucky Duck and Bubble Room. We had a terrific time! The team at Dream Vacation Rentals is an absolute pleasure to work with. From the reservation process to answering questions during our stay, they were always extremely responsive, courteous, and informative.

We rented Santa No Langa for a family reunion. Our kids are becoming adults and spread all over the globe so it was nice that they had this time together in a beautiful home and setting.

Beautiful home
This is a gorgeous and very comfortable home for a vacation in Captiva. It has all the amenities you could possibly want inside the home from wi-fi, televisions, a game room, beautiful kitchen and a large porch. The pool and hot tub are perfect for children. The beach is an easy walk down the street and we spent every morning there swimming and collecting shells. It was an easy walk to many wonderful restaurants. All in all, a fabulous vacation home!!

Wonderful Stay BUT....
First off, this is beautiful five star house - seven adults had plenty of room and we had a great stay. Layout of the house is perfect. Great master suite. Wonderful TV area where we watched the Red Sox clinche the World Series. Short walk to the beach. BUT for a relatively pricey upscale house - some of the basics were missing. Coffee maker, no coffee filters. No paper towels. No hand soap. No salt & pepper. No kitchen sponge. No cleaner to clean the counter tops. No toilet paper after a couple days. A trip to the closest market in Sanibel (Baily’s) is ~20 to 30 mins each way and a pain to have to go there for items I feel should have been supplied with the rental. There is a low level infestation of centipedes in the basement where one of the bedrooms is located. The pool lounge chairs are from the 1970’s. The cushions on the wicker chairs around the pool are moldy. There were plenty of beach chairs, but they are old and rusty. Someone did stop by our first day and brought us two new beach chairs, but there were 7 of us staying at the house. Bottom line, amazing house needing a rental company / owners who are paying attention to detail.

Great place, very clean and comfortable
Had a great week, weather could have been better, but the place was very accommodating, spent a lot of time in the screened in porch overlooking the pool. Short walk to the beach and caught some great sunsets. Within walking distance to many restaurants. Definitely would rent here again if we are in the area.
