Nice Hotel on the edge of Santander. Easy access with car and lots of free parking. Also easy to visit Santander by car many free parking's there. Used those near the Arena/beach. Good room with fridge but sadly not kettle for heating water
liked most, but could be nice with kettle for heating water for coffee and tea ( I know there was a vending machine in reception :-) )

The staff were fantastic, the size of the room was impressive and the cleanliness was as you would hope. The pub under the building served food and offered a fine but not fancy breakfast for under 5 euros.
I had expected something a little more grand for the price which was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during a trip of 19 days. The location was out of town, next to a petrol station on the edge of a housing estate area. The room initially looked impressive in size, however, every time the person next door showered or flushed the loo a considerable loud noise went off for a period of about a minute afterwards. This combined with a rattly air con meant very disrupted sleep. I had expected something very different considering the cost and the name of the hotel. BUT the staff were amazing. I did not complain as my Spanish is good but not sufficient to explain without a lot of miming! And to be fair, we only had one night there... first world problem really.
