Hotel Els Caçadors de Ribes

Es un hotel y restaurante familiar lleno de historia y rico de tradición. escapamos del calor torrido de Barcelona en agosto y fue una delicia tener aire acondicionado que funcionaba a las mil maravillas en la habitacion. La habitación era espaciosa, con un balconcito que daba a un patio exterior entre el edificio del hotel y el edificio defronte. Tomamos el aire fresco sentados en el balcon por la noche y en la mañaña despues de despertarnos. Una maravilla. Un silencio muy agradable en el Hotel, lo que se agradece mucho. El staff fantastico, professional, con muy buena comunicacion y atención al cliente, sea en la recepción, sea en el restaurante. El desayuno una maravilla, generoso, abundante, variado, quizas faltando apenas una opcion exclusivamente para veganos, pero se podia pedir de antemano. La ducha con agua caliente funcionando sin problemas. Por lo general, todo bien cuidado, limpio y ordenado. El boufet del desayuno exquisito en su organizacion, con huevos fritos, bacon, jamon dulce y serrano, varios tipos de queso, butifarra o longaniza. Fruta - platanos y naranjas, todo tipo de cafes y expressos y tes. En realidad, todo 5 estrellas. Sobretodo, nos agradó mucho el hecho de que no había ruído en todo el Hotel, por lo general los huéspedes hablaban bajo, creo que esto seria una actitud a implementar como politica de Hotel y pedir a todos los visitantes que la respectaran. Aunque de vacaciones, venimos a descansar, no a molestar a los demás con ruído y griterío histriónico. En resumen, unamuy buena experiencia para descansar y escapar de la locura urbana y playera del verano. Volveremos y recomendaremos.

Algunas cositas a mejorar - desayuno para veganos como opcion disponible en el menu. Las tuberias del baño por debajo del lavamanos, en la habitacion en que nos quedamos, estaban super oxidadas y tenian un aspecto de acumulacion de detritos, cuando uno salia de la ducha se las veia y tenian un aspecto bastante desagradable. Habria que limpiar o remplazar porque da un aspeto de descuido y falta de higiene. Por ultimo, el colchón sí que era durillo, y no hemos dormido muy bien, y en la habitacion habia mucho polvo y migas de pan y galletas por debajo de la mesa del televisor y detrás de la puerta de la habitación. Algún pequeño descuido en la limpieza.. Se veía bastante mal, pero lo hablamos en recepción y fueron bastante profesionales, pasaron de inmediato a limpiarlo. Cuando regresamos al final del dia estaba todo limpio, pero habia que evitar estos pequeños fallos porque siempre son desgradables para los huéspedes y dejan mala impresion.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the village close to all amenities and the railway station . We received a warm and informative welcome . The room was comfortable and quiet . We ate in the restaurant both evenings , excellent friendly service .

The en suite bathroom was dated with a small bath and fixed screen . I chose to take a bath .. there were no hand rails to aid getting out of the bath .. it was difficult to navigate around the fixed screen . I could have easily slipped .. The restaurant offered a nice menu however both choices were incredibly over salted .. Inline salt but not that much .

A lovely hotel in a charming little town, just a short walk from the railway station and perfectly placed for exploring the nearby natural attractions.

There weren’t many dining options available on Sunday night.

The location is good. There is a mountain train and hiking trails nearby.The beds are comfortable, and the Jacuzzi on the terrace is wonderful, though the water is a bit cool.

Unfortunately, as soon as my little daughter and I entered the room, we were hit by a very strong, harsh smell of cleaning products. We opened the windows wide and kept them open for three or four hours, but it didn't help much. We even had to sleep with the windows open at night because the chemical odor had permeated everything—the bedding, the pillows, and even my hair. I started feeling sick to my stomach and a bit nauseous. That is why we left a day early; after returning from a walk at lunchtime, we found that the room had been cleaned again, and the harsh smell was back. I decided to pack up and leave within just 30 minutes to avoid suffering from chemical exposure. I am writing this because I am very sensitive to smells, especially cleaning products, and I want management to take action regarding the person who cleans the rooms. It is simply too much! I think the cleaning lady just dumps the whole bottle of detergent into the bucket without knowing the proper proportions, because the room itself wasn't exactly spotless—especially the tiling near the bathtub. There was also dust on the bathroom light bulbs; clearly, no one had wiped them down in a long time.These light bulbs keep flickering for a long time after the light is turned off. Also, the nails holding up the air conditioner bracket simply fell out of the wall the moment we entered the room. This needs to be fixed. The restaurant food was disappointing, too—everything was far too greasy. I ordered the cannelloni, but it was barely warm; it seemed as though the dish hadn't been freshly cooked but merely reheated.Unfortunately, the cuisine didn't suit me, because I mostly eat only steamed vegetables, salads, and soups—but the only soup available at the restaurant was fish soup, and I’m allergic to fish.
