The stay at this hotel in São Paulo was overall very pleasant. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, abundant, and with a nice variety to start the day right. The location is also a big plus: it’s very close to many of the city’s main attractions, making it easy to explore without long commutes. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering delicious food at very reasonable prices.
The surroundings are not the most picturesque, and the atmosphere outside can feel a bit unsafe, especially at night. It's NOT something the hotel can control, but it’s worth noting for those expecting a peaceful or upscale environment. Noise from the street — mostly people partying late — could be heard during the night, so light sleepers might want to take that into account. While the hotel itself provides comfort and good service, the external setting reflects the typical urban chaos of São Paulo.

Hotel was clean. The maids do a good job cleaning the rooms daily. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of foods. Sink/shower works great, air conditioner worked great. Room was pretty spacious and comfortable. Very nice hotel for a great price in the city center.
District of the city was a bit uneasy, abandoned buildings out of the view and a lot of homeless people roaming the streets. Other than that, everything was fine. Not really the fault of the hotel however.

Congrats to all Cinelandia's staff! Since the beginning, they were polite, helpful and made us feel comfortable with everything. The rooms were fair for the price we had paid and good enough for us to recovery from Sao Paulo's Carnaval at night. The breakfast was tasty and we didn't miss anything. When I go back to Sao Paulo, I'm definitely staying again at Cinelandia Hotel.
Maybe the neighborhood isn't the best. Sao Paulo's historical center is full of people and we could hear some noise and electronic music all night. There are a lot of people living on the streets, and it is necessary to be aware because it is usual cellphone robbery. In fact, those things didn't frustrate my overall experience, however, it is necessary to tell that you always have to keep your eyes on your belongings.

Café da manhã médio, poucas opções basicamente pão ovo, queijo e um bolo. Limpeza não acontece, tem que pedir. Lugar sem acústico escuta tudo dos outros e na madrugada sexta para sábado teve um show no prédio da frente que ninguém dormiu, parecia que era lá dentro do hotel.
