I have reviewed this site before and last year commented that I didn't think we would be back! However - the high points, the location and the access to 3 lovely beaches will continue to attract. We stayed in one the Eco bungalows at the top of the site. We found this year that the bungalow itself was better equipped (toaster, kettle and capsule coffee maker) and we didn't have any issue with the ants - just the mosquitos!! They definitely need a little updating and the bathroom would need a refit. The beds were comfortable and the air-con worked well. The terrace with the electronic bbq's is ideal. The staff generally are good and when we did have a slight issue with the air-con it was addressed immediately (within 30 mins of reporting). This year we didn't use the pool or many of the other facilities. We ate a couple of times in Club Aire Libre at the top of the road and La Masia - La Masia particularly is recommended (closed Monday evenings). The Wifi seems also to have improved.
While the on site restaurant (La Vela) seems to have improved slightly since the last few years - there is for instance a slightly greater choice on the menu. the service still seems a bit chaotic and the young barman on duty several evenings was flat out. We did not however eat there, so I can't say whether the service issues have been addressed. I have commented before that if you are paying somewhere in the region of €200 a night, it seems ridiculous to have to rent both sheets and towels - the other slight gripe is in relation to the wifi - again if you are staying for 11 nights you should have free access for all guests for the entire period of the stay (however to be fair this year it was not an issue for us as the friendly man on reception gave us 4 or 5 passes on arrival - a pass once activated lasts for one week).

The setting was stunning, the campsite facilities were very good and the on-site shop very useful. The beach bar restaurant down the road was worth the walk down !
It was quite noisy with neighbours

Our chalet was so cute and lovely. We could see a but of the sea from our lovely balcony and the surroundings are gorgeous! The campground is massive and has lots of things to to make your stay comfortable.
We chose this place bc the website said that certain things were "through September" and that the bus from BCN stopped in front. What that actually meant was through the holiday weekend of La Mercé or the week before bc even though it was the last days of September...the supermarket was closed on site, the transport to the beach stopped running and the restaurant stopped serving it's full menu. We also had to take a taxi from town bc the bus did not actually stop in front of the campground.
Also, just know when renting a travel crib for €21 you are actually getting a "kit de niños" that includes a high chair and a baby bath. The crib doesn't fit in either bedroom so that whole thing was just expensive and disappointing. That should be more transparent.

The camping is located next to beautiful calas. The facilities of the camping are amazing. Large pool great for a morning swim or after the beach.
You need to pay extra for bedding and towels and the double bed fitted sheet does not fit on the matters properly... The only small setback was the little ants that seemed to have a walking trail on the bedroom wall and sometimes you would find them in the bed....

Great chalets on the hill with beautiful views and well- equiped(Furniture wise). The terrace is amazing.
For a short 2-day trip no offered amenities (welcome kit). You need to buy everything (soap, shampoo, oil etc.) Would have been nice. Chalets are high up the hill just outside the camping and far from the sea.

Great staff members, especially Ivan at the reception, a problem solver always with a great attitude
Renting of sheets in a 150 euros a night cabin? Never heard of such thing

Pleasant staff, laid back atmosphere, nice pool.
When trying to contact the campsite, the phone is answered by headquarters (in France somewhere we believe). The people who picked up were extremely rude and it was very difficult to get through to our reception.
We would have liked if the restaurant was open more.

I have booked for 4 days to my family 6 people the Chalet that are supposed to fit until 8 people. Total regret this choice!! We were not able to stay more than 1 day in such small place. Bed with very bad quality

location and concept of the property
there was no service for room. No toiletries , Lenin and towel. it’s on request only. when we are travelling as tourist from another country for 15 days plus with multiple destination , it is a big challenge to manage all these things by own.
They didn’t mentioned to us to clean the room before we leave. As we were not knowing, they charged us for the same as 45 euros per room.
this is beyond imagination .

perfect place, surrounded by forest, with different types of accommodation . we really enjoyed our private cottage and plan to come back. supermarket, bar, restaurant are all on the territory. several beaches near by. pet friendly camping. not overcrowded even in high season, as the space is huge!
could be really hot in those houses w/o AC

Access to three beaches straight from the camping (so no need to move your car) and shuttle service from the beach back to the camping

Cala Llevado camping is a beatiful place. One of the kind. Beautiful beaches . We stayed in chalet style home which had pleanty of space and was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped and it was a pleasure to cook there. We had great sea views from the terrace. Stuff was super-helpful. Shop was very well stocked. Camping area is very well maintained and beautiful, very hilly - lots of ups and downs to keep us in the shape! . Only a short pleasant walk away was Tossa del Mar - charming little historical town. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Clean, excellent location and peaceful didn't expect this
I have made a refund request as I paid for linen that was not linen rather bits of cloth and pillowcases so we went without I was told to make a refund request however noone has got back to me and that has been a little disappointing but can't fault them on anything else.

Location was great and it's the best value for money in the area in my opinion. Very nice camping area and accomodations and I can picture how nice it would be to go there on high or shoulder season when facilities are all open
Unfortunately during low season many facilities were not available but this is something to expect from the time we went. To be honest the space was little for 6/8 persons, but given the great price and quality of the cabin it was definitely worth it

Location unbeatable! Beautiful beaches on the doorstep and the best chiringuito I have been to in spain right there!
The bungalows could have been a bit bigger

Price was too high, kitchen could have been stocked better.

We have been coming to this campsite for about 8 years. The location, the forest, the type of people who stay here and the restaurant by the beach are everything...
...however, now, in the very beginning of September, which normally counts as high season, the big and well equipped supermarket was closed (no notice of this either on Booking or on the camping's website), with the most essential items moved to the bar. This posed a problem for us as this time we came without a car so our options to cook got suddenly VERY limited.
Another problem was that we booked a chalet with sea view (first time). While the chalet was great, please note that these are *very* far from the sea! (no problem for us, but maybe some people need to know this). *No view also whatsoever* since right in front of our chalet there was a huge tree. Literally in front of the terrace, blocking the whole view. We asked to swap to another empty chalet (plenty available) but in 4 days this was impossible and the campsite's staff nor Booking was able to arrange... This to us marks the decline of the place which once used to be a family run business with great customer service.
The receptionist was tired/irritated/unfriendly, too. Given with the small amount of work, I don't understand why...
Oh, almost forgot: due to "corona", now you don't get duvets or pillows- they charge extra for them, and they are the thin, auto-inflating ones. All this for the "privilege" chalet. So better bring your own if you like to sleep comfortably.
Sad to see this place turn into something like this.
