the people on phone and in person was very nice. gave great directions to get to the place. was in perfect spot for everything to do.

I cannot say enough good things about this property, and our stay. It was beyond what I expected. Location : Quiet area, but not far from downtown. You can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes, beach is large, clean and quiet. There's a short cut walk to the Malecon in probably 15-20 minutes. Drive under 5 minutes.House : Beautifully decorated, with all possible amenities, great kitchen, a lovely patio facing the sea, comfortable beds, and AC units in the LR and one in each bedrooms. Cleanliness : A care taker and his wife live in San Felipe to care for the house, and they keep the house spotless, inside and out.Communication : Our host Jana was awesome. Great directions, prior to arrival, communication and information. And very accommodating.Food ; Several markets in town, as well as fish markets (we ate fresh fish everyday), but if you like good wine.... my advice... bring some... However, there is an amazing bakery on the way to the house !!Things to do in and around San Felipe : To be honest, not much. It's a relaxing place, not really a visiting place. But you can rent/ride horses on the beach, take long walks, drive in the desert, and there are always events on the week ends, when the town fills up with music and people. The Malecon is fairly large and if you like shopping... well, there's plenty of shops.So, in resume I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for a quiet, peaceful few days of rest and sun and sand. I stayed here before and its like a home away from home. Alicia the on site caretaker very honest I forgot some items about 3 years ago and she kept them till now. A great place if you want to unplug from technology and fast world.

Contact with owner was great. We were lost, but she got us there. Our disappointment was our communication with the manager and the condition of the property. After checking the refrigerator and the coffee pot (both filthy) we had to thoroughly clean everything. We had to hunt to find the washer/dryer and figure out how to work them. We were told we had beach access, but all the near by beach area is controlled by beachfront properties who have will not allow through traffic to the beach. Again, the owner was easy and pleasant to work with, but the property needs attention. In spite of that we enjoyed our stay.
