Quite central to major activities. Beautiful surroundings, picturesque. Quite spacious. Comfortable beds. Wide window sills to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the views.
NO TOWELS OR LOO ROLLS. NO KITCHEN ROLLS. The stairs are a little hazardous for the elderly. Traffic noise at night could be a bit disturbing if you are a light sleeper. Not a very practical car park. The yard outside is a bit hazardous for the elderly.

The quirky history of the building in a great location with comfy beds.
Maybe a few blankets and soft cushions around the living area would have been the icing on the cake.
One of my friends didn't like the cobwebs here and there but didn't bother most of us!

location for where we wanted to visit and explore was brilliant. Size of the property and the room splits ( 2 doubles and 1 twin room). great facilities like separate wash room: with washing machine , sink and freezer. ideally room after a walk to get changed and leave dog to dry off.
lovely open plan living area upstair ( bedroom downstairs) with great views. well stocked kitchen with a good selection of pots and pans, microwave and dishwasher. lovely wood burning in the lounge area to relax in front off or to warm up after a chilly walk.
off road parking for 2 cars
lovely garden and pub style garden bench to enjoy the views and have food.
Great walks directly from the house and easy to pick up the footpaths. especially up to the Cumbrian way and the Tarn only 2 miles from cottage. Great location for ‘wild swimming ‘ or open water swimming.
highly recommend for a family or group of friends wanting to explore the area.
exceptional communication with the owners too.
the garden is lovely but a couple of gaps in hedge onto farmer field with the sheep so just to be aware.
The road that passes the house is the main road towards Lake Conn and can be busy at times.
Just to be aware with providing your own towels this also includes tea towels, hand towels and washing up clothes.
