If you’re disappointed you should not have come to Azores in the first place.

The house was in a beautiful location, very well-equipped. It was within walking distance to town with a couple of shops and at least one good restaurant. The outdoor deck was very comfortable. It’s only 25 minutes from Ponta Delgada, but you feel you’re on a different island.

We loved our house, it was a beautiful ens to our holiday

The location is outstanding, the terrace is such a treat and the view is amazing

The ceiling in the bedroom is a little low and the lounge is quite dark

Lovely secluded unit, with a great ocean view and nice little private beach down below. it was very clean and spacious.

Pretty good. Rooftop deck made it worth it.

The rooftop deck view was great. The outdoor shower was nice, but cold water only. The location was pretty central to exploring the whole island. The location was nice and quiet, located between the village of Porto Formoso and Praia Moinhos.

The bed room areas have low ceilings with beams and doorways that you will hit your head on if you are taller than 5'7". The indoor shower was very small. There was only a tiny, dorm-sized refrigerator. There were a lot of very small ants. Needs more ventilation than the one small noisy fan.

Beautiful location and quiet house - we can't wait to return!

We loved having this quiet property all to ourselves. The view from the porch to the jetties and ocean is stunning. We had morning coffee and evening wine and snacks every day on the back porch. We spent most of our days exploring the island but enjoyed time relaxing at Casa do Mar. The seating in the living room was good for the two of us and we were able to connect to the tv to stream an a movie from Prime one evening. The kitchen is good for a short stay, appreciated the refrigerator and two burner oven. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils, and cookware. Nunos left us coffee and sugar with boxed creamer to get us started, along with a very nice welcome basket. The bathroom is a good size with good water pressure and heat. The beds are comfy with plenty of space in both sleeping areas. We walked down to the jetty and enjoyed exploring; we also walked down to Praia dos Moinhos beach one sunny afternoon and really enjoyed it, very tucked away and not crowded. The snack bar was nice to have available even though we didn't order. The location is good for exploring the island, but you'll definitely need a car. Nunos was an excellent host who answered any question we had. We would stay here again.

We didn't get to explore the Formoso area around Casa do Mar; we visited a little before busy season so some of the restaurant opening hours didn't work with our schedule. But it is a quaint and quiet little area.

Very relaxing stay

Wonderful location directly above the shore. Nicely equipped kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Nuno, the host was very helpful.

it was just perfect

the whole apartment is super nice: the views are stunning, the location is perfect and the host was a nice person. i especially enjoyed evening grilling with the ocean waves from a cliff/beach underneath the terrace (that is detached from tourist epicenters and you have it practically just for yourself). and wait until you see the views from the bedrooms

The owner is very nice and helpful in all matters. The place has a great view over the ocean. If you like it quiet this is the place to be.

Beautiful place - highly recommend!

We loved our stay here - we are 2 couples and we very much enjoyed a relaxing week in the Azores here. The terrace is fantastic, we spent most of our time here, cooking on the bbq every night and enjoying the wonderful views. There is both a covered and uncovered part to it so works well depending on the weather! The kitchen was well equipped and clean, and there was plenty of towels and beach towels. The beds were spacious and comfortable, and parking available directly out the front on the pavement. The area is great - lovely beach close by too, but only 20-25 mins into Ponta Delgada, and fairly centrally located for visiting other locations. Would very much love to come back and would highly recommend!

This was not an issue for us at all but worth being aware that there is one double bedroom with a door, and the other double bed is in the area at the top of the stairs and can be sectioned off with a curtain. The photos do show as is, but we hadn’t figured that out before we arrived!

Heavenly place on Sao Miguel.

This place is amazing. You can get lost in nature, listen to the ocean's waves, sit on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Perfect location made it easy to reach every point of Sao Miguel. Nuno and Marta are very helpful and kind people and her cake was delicious. We recommned this place and will be going back again.

As much as we wanted to find some fault we really couldnt.
