This is the nicest hotel we ever stayed at! The beach, pool, and food were beautiful! Our 11 month old was spoiled by all the staff. We were pleasantly surprised they even had a baby bath tub for us to use.

Incredible location. One of the most beautiful beaches ever and crazy fun cool snack bar above it. Gorgeous pool lots of chairs and relaxing places. The Jacuzzi on our patio was fabulous. And we got an incredible couples massage at the spa. Food was very Portuguese, but also unique and fresh mostly from on site.

The pool at the spa is small and was not hot. Limited slightly outdated, equipment, and minimal.

The perfect experience

This place is incredible. The room was stunning, the food was fabulous, the staff were so attentive. They give you a mobile phone to ask questions or request whatever you want whenever you want! They left a cake and champagne on arrival for my partners birthday. The views are beautiful, this place has it all. My favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend

Scenic getaway by the ocean

Great location and lovely farm. The staff was very helpful, on request they were able to deliver breakfast to the room, and on my friend’s birthday gifted a lovely cake and a bottle of espumante

The user experience in the rooms is not ideal: there is no detached shower, only the head one; glass containers for shampoo (which seemed to be exactly like soap by color and smell) were slippery and we broke one in the shower (thankfully no one got heard); remote for the gate is easy to lose, maybe it’s be better to not have that responsibility for the guests etc

Best hotel we ever stayed in

This was the most beautiful Hotel we’ve ever stayed in! All the staff just go the extra mile to make your trip exceptional. The breakfast was the best included breakfast, making everything fresh and a la carte. and the room was simply breathtaking! We will definitely come back!

Our group of 7 loved everything about Santa Barbara!

Beautiful location, villas well equipped and commutable to many restaurants. Retreat villa w hot tub worth additional fee as we also rented garden villa. Staff outstanding! Very flexible and helpful.

the perfect place to disconnect

the location is gorgeous with an amazing ocean view, the food is great and the staff is nice!

we went in December and the Spa area was a little bit cold. same for the swimming pool outside our room, we expected a heated pool

Even better 2nd stay at this dreamy location

Everything starting with: -the unparalleled location -the beach at the resort -quiet and relaxing accommodation (we had the room with the private pool) -hearing the ocean in the evening from our patio -the restaurant vibe and the food -the cool beach bar This was our 2nd stay at this resort after we spent out honeymoon here back in 2018. Overall we found the place better than the 1st time. This says a lot as we loved it the 1st time around as well.

Didn't particularly like the cocktails. They were ok, but not awesome. Also I would prefer a more simple restaurant menu. The food was great, but I am more for a simple fish based meal especially vs a complex dish.

Exceptional

The hotel is simply breathtaking. The whole set up is extremely peaceful, you’re stone away from the beach and can have nice view from the pool. The rooms are very clean, modern and functional. The restaurant is also really good, both the food and drinks were amazing quality. Finally, the staff is super friendly and helpful they will make sure you enjoy your stay and have everything that’s needed!

An excellent stay at a super fantastic resort

The location was very secluded and felt like it had it's own beach (beach is public, it's just right next door!). The pools were amazing, and the amenities were in abundance. I loved the hamock style seating in the cabana! The breakfasts were delicious, albeit a little strange ordering process (you order each individual part to your breakfast separately), and we had a meal in the restaurant one night which was also fantastic. The staff were super friendly, and helped us navigate the Azorean food so that we got a great experience. Reception were also fantastic, making sure everything we need was catered for

No real issues, can't say there was anything we'd have wanted different.

eco resort to have a peace retreat

facilities are top, the gym, the pool, the breakfast location, the room terrace with kind of private pool, it’s an oasis to finish our journey in Açores. a special good point for breakfast menu.

they need to improve the room service response and attention in the front desk. they need to improve the timings and schedule of room cleaning service because i had to wait more than half a day to have my room cleaned in my stay. the restaurant is so good but they have only a few plates on the menu so maybe they could add some more.

Amazing food, great views and very helpful staff. The hotel looks onto the most beautiful beach. The food is honestly amazing, breakfast felt like such a luxury each morning. The staff couldn’t be more helpful… this resort really feels like an oasis.

Beach front Santa Barbara

Loved the lay out of the room. It led to our own piece of an infinity pool. Loved the view of the mountains but not necessarily the homes in the background. Love the proximity to the beach. Walked at sunset. Beautiful!!! Loved the set up of breakfast as well. The Adirondacks on the wooden deck set above the pool and umbrellas below. Beautiful beautiful resort set just a few minutes from town but there's a feeling of seclusion once you're inside the resort. Only comment that they might inprove on? The Jacuzzi was inside what seemed to be a greenhouse. With this Covid pandemic still going on, we felt there should be more ventilation. In a closed space with warm and wet air, these can be breeding grounds for viruses. Eniweys, overall, Great resort 💞 💞

Not a 4 star hotel, we cannot recommend staying at the hotel

We have booked 8 nights over Christmas: The food for dinner and the location of the hotel are great.

However there are major drawbacks: The service in the restaurant is not friendly. Not enough waitress to handle the amount of guests. They are quite stressed out and do not have time to take orders properly and ask for additional drinks etc. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very bad - the lighting and decoration are not nice and it is cold such that you have to wear a jacket. For breakfast you have to make a reservation every day. For us it is not acceptable to set your alarm clock on holiday for being able to receive breakfast. We weren’t informed that there is a special menu for Christmas. When we arrived for Christmas dinner, they first sad that we cannot get any food, because we haven’t made a reservation. After discussion and 20 minutes late they finally gave us a table. Again there were far to less waitress to handle the amount of guests. There is no spa available or at least what they call „wellness“ is not comparable with a proper spa. There is only one „treatment room“ which is inside the „gym“ and only separated with curtains. When we booked the hot tube there was a dead lizard inside. The rooms are not nice either. We booked a Blue & Green villa. It is very cold inside, the pool was not usable because it is not heated. The atmosphere is very cold and uncomfortable. We decided to leave the hotel 4 nights early, because we just wanted to get home. Our complaint was handled very unprofessional. They just said sorry and that this is not the service that they want to offer. But that was it.
