Wat een geweldige gastheer, monsieur James. Alles top voor elkaar. Ruime kamers, goed ontbijt en elke dag schone handdoeken. Prachtig kasteel met een eigen verhaal en een mooie omgeving.
Eigenlijk geen echte op- of aanmerkingen.

Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo l'accoglienza estremamente familiare di James e del suo fedele Elliot, la posizione comoda per visitare i luoghi dello sbarco, il silenzio e la pace della campagna. James è molto disponibile a raccontare la storia del luogo e a dare indicazioni e suggerimenti per esplorare i dintorni. Aggiungerei anche che dalle finestre della nostra camera abbiamo visto un'alba meravigliosa.
Partendo dalla considerazione che non è un luogo adatto a chi cerca comodità e servizi di un hotel, il luogo avrebbe forse bisogno di un pò di manutenzione, ma nulla che comprometta il soggiorno che si è rivelato estremamente piacevole.

Very well placed for the bayeux tapistry and the landing beaches. Cannot do without a car. We had the family suite and there was an additional bed for a 5th person! This place oozes charm and the link to the press of WW2 was palpable.. Host attended swiftly to our concerns!
