The property is a beautiful old mill house set beside an idyllic little stream. It was a peaceful situation & lovely to sit there with a glass of wine at the end of the day. There was a restaurant on the property which served decent but not wow food. The staff were friendly.
The hotel & rooms are very old fashioned (some maybe charmed by the quaintness) although well maintained. Our bathroom only had a bath & hand held shower so you had to kneel in the bath ~ rather archaic!
The breakfast area was small & basic as was the food selection.

Great location. The garden next to the water stream was amazing. Very quiet at nights.
The bathrooms could be upgraded a bit.

Large room and the bed was comfortable.
I booked on the basis it had a restaurant only to be informed by email after booking that the restaurant was shut on the day of the stay was closed (a Monday night). Perhaps have that detail on the booking details, or say restaurants nearby within walking distance are open.
Bath with shower attachment rather than a shower. Breakfast was reasonable (bread, croissants and Pain au chocolate. But cereal choice poor, empty muesli container etc. I feel it was a bit end of season despite the hotel being busy.
Car park is really tight and would be difficult to exit if full, I waited until most vehicles had left. You can only see how full the car park is when you get into it, at that point it is too late to easily exit!
I arrived at 19.20 and reception was closed. Only got an email saying it was closed at 19h00 after the time of closing. Had to call, luckily I speak French!
