They managed to ruin a very beautiful place by being careless and cheap. Not worth it.

1. The garden is the best I've ever seen. 2. The location is hidden away, exclusive and private. 3. The views are amazing. 4. The architecture is great. 5. The pool and jacuzzis are great.

We got the best room in this 5-star luxury hotel for 1.000.000 COP per night. Despite paying so much we encountered the following issues. 1. The unpaved road to the property is several kilometers long and is absolutely horrible and very bumpy. Obviously, this is because the hotel and other nearby land owners won't pay to pave the road. Don't go without an SUV. 2. Food quality is between 2/10 - 4/10 depending on the day. 3. I visited this hotel last year and they had Netflix (although it kept freezing every couple of minutes). I guess they solved the problem by removing Netflix completely. There is no alternative premium service such as HBO Max either - only regular TV. 4. This 5-star luxury hotel SELLS toothpaste rather than providing it for free in the bathroom which is the standard in the hospitality industry. 5. The room phone is broken. You cannot it use to call reception or anywhere. The receptionist provided his Whatsapp as an alternative and said to contact him any time but when we tried contacting him several times and he never responded. 6. After 9PM the whole hotel shuts down (they turn off the lights and close all the exits) and all the staff leave or go to sleep. You will not have any assistance if you have a problem after 9PM. 7. Wi-fi at night is bad. 8. The toilet lid falls on your back when you sit down. 9. The metal towel hanger in the bathroom was so flimsy, it fell off when we tried to hang a towel on it. After reporting this to the receptionist there was no hint of an apology and the reception acted like it's normal. 10. There is a leak in the ceiling of the lobby behind the reception desk - when it rains, it leaks water onto the floor. 11. We accidentally left some cash on the table before leaving the room and it disappeared. The maid said she thought it was a tip and took it. We let her keep it but that's not the way to do it. 12. The jacuzzi foam is not actually... foamy.

Excellent breakfast. Perfect location in a very beautiful zone in the middle of the forest.

The location is fantastic and also the swimming pool.

The perfect place to connect with nature

The hotel is stunning! the view is beautiful. Everything is very clean and well organised. the staff is amazing. Very welcoming and friendly

The location is quite tricky. They should consider extending the hours that the boat transportation is offered, since arriving at 2 o'clock to take the boat at no cost is a bit difficult. Also, they never mention this when you’re doing the booking. They sent me a message a day or two before we arrived saying that the road was not in good condition. That was very disappointing and annoying.

Amazing view

Superb

I like everything about the hotel, it's very nice and clean.

I don't like the road, it's a chaos to get there. The hotel is a little pricey because the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. Plus you can literally hear anything that's happening from the other rooms. You can hear when people are snoring while sleeping, it's annoying.

Beautiful property. Challenging to get to.

The grounds are absolutely stunning.

The road to get to the hotel is very difficult to pass. You really need a truck or an SUV. The hotel doesn’t offer a water taxi from Guatape, so you need to arrange your own transport, which was very expensive ~$200.000 cop ($50 usd) each way. And it’s only 15 min boat ride. So the transportation companies are definitely taking advantage of tourists who would struggle to negotiate. I’m not sure why this hotel isn’t offering their own transport for guests who are paying a premium to stay there.

The staff is excellent. Facilities are great and exactly how it looks a the pictures

Its hard to get there by car. You must have a SUV there's no pavement 1/3 off the road. Another and the most significant inconvenience is they have no other method of payment besides CASH they arguments are the locations is too remote a have no facilities for a Credit Card reader. I believe thats a very ridiculous excuse. They have internet, how comes you can have a Credit Card reader?

Views of the lake are incredible. Nice sitting area with gas heater. Pool and hot tubs will maintained. Extremely friendly staff.

Only issue was the wifi. Extremely weak signal so couldn't connect most of the time from the room. When it did connect it was very slow.

I need to speak to management ASAP

I would like to speak to someone in management as one of the staff used my girlfriend's phone number to send her texts about how he liked her using his personal Whatsapp account. This is absolutely absurd and unprofessional! Personal information should never be taken advantage of and used for someone's personal gratification.

Super nice resort at the end of a dirt road.

The hotel was recommended by a friend, and the grounds were amazing. The room had a balcony with a jacuzzi on it. The bed was comfortable as well. Was served dinner, breakfast, and lunch as well which were decent. The rooms could use a little freshening up, but overall a great experience.

At check in, they would not accept full payment in credit card. Apparently half has to be in cash or cash transfer from a Colombian bank. Pool was a little cold to use, but the scenery made up for it. Make sure your car is not too low from the ground, or it will be a long 30 minute plus ride down a dirt road.

Hard to access

Clean very beautiful

Very hard to access. Very poor roads. Couldn’t sleep at night doors very thin and a lot of echo. Especially when they have parties or people staying out late and talking. Go somewhere else if you are a light sleeper.

It is an amazing view, the staff super friendly and Food was outstanding!!!

They didn’t take a credit card payments. Only cash or a Colombian bank transfer, this was very inconvenient.

Amazing peaceful place with great staff and peaceful at night

Food and staff were exceptional. The tranquility at night was amazing. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The view was amazing.

Location is the best of all . Very peaceful and I highly recommend to go on midweek . The food is great very upscale and a good variety.

I think they need to keep up with the hotel on the way of doing maintenance in the furniture , walls on the bedroom , wood strips. Just touches of deterioration because the years of the building.
