Private modern room with balcony sea view and swimming pool.

We were greeted by Irene at the property and immediately upgraded to a beautiful room right beside the pool with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the east coast of Santorini. The room was clean, modern, and kept us cool in the very hot days without needing to use A/C all the time. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Thira centre, which is nice as it is private, without constant tourist onlookers. There is a shop about 1 minute walk away meaning we could make our lunches for travel days. Irene the host was warm and bubbly and gave us excellent information about the area.

Good

The pool was nice the location was not so good as to to get to the main action you had to walk down the hill which was ok but then you had to walk up the hill coming back.

The greatest stay I’ve had!

The host was extremely nice and welcoming. All the staffs were friendly as well. Our room was clean, affordable, well equipped and have a nice view. The hotel looks great and we loveee the pool.

Good

The location was fabulous and the staff were very nice, especially Irene, who greeted us with a big smile on her face.

The room was a bit chilly at night and the beds weren't super comfortable. However, the property was completely in line with my expectations for the price/rating.

Excellent, family hotel.

I couldn’t recommend Hotel Hellas enough. excellent location, clean, newly renovated and spacious rooms. Very comfortable stay. Best of all, I was warmly welcomed by Irene & her husband like family, they were accomodating and I could store luggage here for a week. Will definitely be staying again!

Espectacular

Miss Irene is such a sweetheart! Even gave me a Santorini map, the hotel felt like a home, very clean and its very close to Fira’s main square and the bus stop is right there too! Very comfortable

when we arrived we had such a warm welcome from Irene who immediately upgraded our rooms for rooms with a sea view. This was so much appreciated as we were away as a group for my mams 70th birthday 🥳 The hotel was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely maid who came every day with fresh towels, made the beds and cleaned everywhere. The pool area was closed as it was mid April however we were so lucky to have hot weather, we asked if we could have sun loungers to sit out and that was not a problem, the pool was filled the next day and we were able to use it which was fab! Irene opened up her family church for us to look inside which is next door to the hotel, this was very special for us and just so amazingly beautiful! There is fridge in the room which was great for keeping drinks chilled, small freezer at the top for ice! Hair dryer and iron/ironing board in both rooms. Thank you so much Irene for a wonderful, wonderful stay and we hope to come back very soon to stay with you ❤️

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this property, it was so relaxed, home from home!

Very good

Lovely hotel run by Irene and her amazing staff. Comfortable room with a beautiful view. Walking distance to town with plenty of choice for food and drink. Close to bus station which made exploring the rest of the island so easy. And a pleasure to cool off in the pool at the end of the day. Thank you for a great stay 😀

Great value hotel with pool facility.

Good sized pool which was clean and open all day with no restrictions. Location was a little out of the main town but not a great issue. Room size was good and fridge a welcome resource. Friendly staff and very good English speaker.

Mattress was uncomfortable as we could feel the springs.

Excellent family experience in Santorini

Location was excellent. View is great. We were in town for a wedding, and it was great to be able to get toother venues easily. Host Irene was especially friendly and helpful in helping us get rides lined up to different events. Kids loved the pool. Thank you!

Bed was very firm. We had 3 families staying there and we were spread between 3 different building, but it ended up being on problem as they are all very close and have a common area with a pool.

A comfortable and modern resting place of Greek typicality in the heated atmosphere of Firà

Very quiet room with balcony and panoramic view towards Eastern side of Santorini Island and sea. Typical Greek architecture and original interiors (tile floor, quaint furniture & bathroom), all newly refurbished. Fridge in the room, 5 - 10 minutes of walking distance to all mondane attractions of Firá, the main location of Santorini island. 1 minute to excellent Taverna Simos; 1 minute to Santo Moto where I rented a scooter bike. Receptionist Irene (Santa Irene -> Santorini) was very friendly.

You probably will only be sleeping in this hotel as there is no breakfast offered or bar (but Firá has loads of bakeries, bars and fast food places)

I didn't like that there was no luggage storage after checkout. For this price, there should be a storage in the reception.

The staff special Irene is extraordinary

My room is big, I am the only one staying on it, so its big for me. The only thing is there is only one outlet in the room, and its not close to my bed, but I made it work by alternating phones, wifi is fast. Bathroom is small, I think it also a standard size for EU countries. Pool, is clean and so Greece cause it so blue. But what I really love in this place is the staff, special Irene, she is so nice. The nicest Greek I met. She know I am tired from traveling she prepared my room before check in, which is so nice, thank you Irene. She even arrange my taxi going to the airport, cause bus line in FIra is so chaotic but organize, I don't know if it make sense. Thank you again Irene, your the best!

The location, but it depends where you are coming from and you like the uphill and downhill walk. From the bus station, i kind a long uphill walk. But its a perfect location if you want to visit one of overview site of Fira, I uploaded a photo here if you are curious what site is this. But yeah.. the location depends where you coming from. But if you have car rental, one of the big car park is near the hotel, I uploaded a photo of the car park during sunrise, it has a perfect view of the sunrise.

Great apartments, amazing value for money !

Beautiful apartments, pleasant ten minute walk into the centre. Very clean and tidy room with a lovely view. Pool area was nice with plenty of sun loungers. The owners, Irene and her husband were lovely and could not do enough for you. Very nice people.

Extremely dirty

This is the first review I've ever written but I felt it was necessary to prepare future guests for the lack of cleanliness as I was shocked. The bedding, the cutlery, around the pool, the pool floor..... I was disgusted
