So let me see if I have this right. It's a Canadian themed hotel in a Bavarian, German styled building in a town known as little Switzerland(?) in Brazil?
Located just an 8 to 10 minute easy walk from downtown in a quiet neighbourhood. There is plenty parking in front and in back. The hotel celebrates all things Canada and is filled with all manner of things that could have come over as kitschy, and some things are, but somehow it all works perfectly.
Staff are all super nice, some speak English, some don't. I don't speak Portuguese so I can't complain. Front desk staff were terrific; friendly, helpful and efficient. The lady that takes orders for breakfast is especially nice. She surprised me on my first day by welcoming me with a big hug!
Speaking of breakfast, it is superb. Even if pancakes aren't your thing, you need to try one with the Canadian maple syrup. I was converted. The freshly made omelet was cooked perfectly every day. There is a huge selection of cold cuts, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, etc.
The room had everything I could need. The armchair and desk and chair were very welcome. The bed was super comfortable and had sockets and lighting at bedside. Shower was spacious with lots of pressure and hot water and the towels were huge and fluffy. Toiletries are supplied too. There was a small balcony at front but no chair or table.

Our group was of 2 grandparents and a 5-year old grandson. The staff was very welcoming. The room was very good, with one very large queen or king bed and one double bed. Breakfast was good also. And to our surprise, they offer a 5 o'clock tea with cakes and biscuits. I would stay here again.
I did not like being kissed by the waitress at breakfast.

A more than excellent breakfast. Fruits, waffle, sorts of breads, pancakes, juices, cakes. On Saturdays evenings they offer soup with croutons and deserts. Bed and linnen of very good quality, smelling good.
It is a pitty a lack of a garden to sit and stay appreciating the beautiful landscape.
