Space was perfectly suited for 2, we were on the first floor of a very well maintained building, very clean, there is a well equipped kitchenette and friendly staff changing towels and cleaning through the week, plenty of storage for cases/clothing, even the supply of a travel plug and WiFi to connect to left on the dining table. Superb location in the heart of La Cariuela right on the beach. The street side where we stayed is full of shops and restaurants and close to the church, fabulous to watch the hustle and bustle of this famous area.
Only a very minor point is that the balcony on the street side in the apartment we were in, was VERY small with a derelict building opposite (obviously not the host's fault) bit of a squeeze to both sit and have a coffee but still kept clean and tidy during our stay and a welcome outside space, that can be bright and noisy well into the night.

Very central and near to shops/restaurants and the beach.
Owner very polite and helpful on arrival. Told us we had a broken tile on the floor in the apartment but that would be fixed the following day, which it was. Room clean.
Not enough plug sockets. Balcony very small and the chairs were too wide to enable us to close the outside electric blind, so had to bring them inside. They were replaced with slimmer chairs by day 4.
There is no lift so if you struggle with steps then this isn’t for you.
