This is our 5th time to stay here and we chose the cabins behind the pool since they have a family size cabin for our friends who traveled with us. Loved the cabins!
It has been 3 years since we stayed and the hotel has had several improvements! The pool area hand rail, the breakfast buffet was GREAT!
Some of the staff was the same, we loved seeing them again. They are always so kind!!! And the new staff became new friends.
Part of the jungle life is the fruit falling/animals jumping on the metal roof in the middle of the night...not bad, just shocking the first night and then makes us thankful that watermelons don't grow on trees :)

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. They picked us up at the airport one minute after we got our luggage. The pool was lovely. The breakfast had a nice variety of things to choose. There were lots of birds in the many trees on the property. They didn't try to squeeze another sol out of us at every turn like some places: 'Can we leave our suitcase here after checkout for a few hours?' 'Sure. No problem!' Awesome hot showers!
There were pigeons roosting in our roof and they made scratching noises early in the morning! I guess that's the price of having lots of birds around!
