Lovely Bali villa run by friendly and helpful family with gorgeous pool in a great location. The location near great restaurants was a bonus.

This villa is absolutely incredible, you won’t find a better villa in Ubud. The hosts are absolutely amazing, the whole family are so kind and helpful with giving us recommendations and helping out with all the questions we had. Made and Wayan made us breakfast every morning which was so delicious. The villa itself is stunning and private, extremely spacious and comfortable. The pool is amazing and we even extended our stay by one day since we didn’t want to leave! Our very good location as you can walk 20 minutes to Ubud or 5 minute scooter drive.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pondok Sawah Asri. It was easily one of the best places we stayed during our time in Bali. The villa was beautiful, very clean, peaceful and private, and having our own pool surrounded by greenery made it even more special.
But what really made our stay unforgettable was the family. Made prepared our breakfast for us every morning, always with such care, and it was a lovely way to start the day. We could change both the breakfast options and the time every day, and they were always very flexible. Made was so friendly and cheerful, and we really enjoyed chatting with him and learning more about Bali.
Wayan was incredibly helpful and responsive — whenever we needed anything, we could simply message him on WhatsApp and he was always there to help. Mama Asri was also so warm and kind and made us feel truly at home.
We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ubud. Thank you Made, Wayan and Mama Asri for making our stay so special! ❤️
