Location was close to town and walking to restaurants and the lake/volcano. Breakfast was big (typical Ecuadorian plus yogurt/cereal/extra fruit). Ceiling was cozy. Warm blankets and a space heater provided which was appreciated.

Room was small. Wasn’t the room we booked. For example, the room we booked said “stand out feature is the fireplace” but really it was just a hot pole (chimney) and the fire was not going most of the time we were there.

The kind and welcoming family runs a rustic property perfectly located in Quilatoa. They provide very good meals and heat up your room with a wood-fire stove. The bed is super comfy and has amazingly warm blankets, the hot shower is great too.

Lovely family run hostel. Excellent breakfast! Friendly staff. Heater in the room (woodfire) to keep us warm during the evening. We could store our larger luggage after check out, while hiking around the crater.
