We liked that the facilities and room were clean!
The door on the rooms when shut still left a small peephole, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Koukaso Hotel, although very close to the railway line, is very well sound insulated. You may get some noise from other guests if they are noisy, otherwise, surprisingly quiet. The free parking is close by, the hotel is immaculately clean, is air-conditioned throughout, has 3 toilets & 1 bathroom for 4 rooms. Guests have access to a well equipped kitchen with everything you will need - fridge, microwave, toaster, stove, etc. An excellent stay.
The only disappointing issue were that one window out of the 2 didn't have a blockout curtain, although as good as you get, the futons were still firm & they charge 280 Yen for a towel.
