The female only dorm felt very comfortable and safe, which a fan provided to keep cool in the hot weather. Everything was very clean and the style of bunks is very cozy, containing a lockable box for precious items.
The staff were friendly on arrival.
There was no microwave to heat meals and the other guests didn't always clean the kitchen well after themselves.
The elevator was frequently in use so it required some waiting to get down to the exit of the building.
The timber structure of the bunks makes the smallest movements very loud, and I bruised my back when standing and hitting it on the frame edge.

The semi private setup is genius. The hostel is very clean and organized and the location is at a walkable distance to the he city’s centre.

I stayed in this hostel before (in the dorms) and had an overall pleasant experience. This time I came with my friend and we booked a room together. The problem was that we received only one room key. This hostel has automatic locks EVERYWHERE which could have been great if they had given us 2 room keys. We couldn't do anything by ourselves- we couldn't leave the room, we couldn't take showers, we couldn't even go to the bathroom if one of us wasn't on standby. I really liked this hostel before but after this time I don't think I'll be coming back. I still think it is a good option if you are traveling solo. (Also keep in mind that there is only one small elevator for 10 floors, so you have to wait a long time to use it .)
