Beautiful and well looked after grounds.
A place for relaxation.
The staff were always friendly and welcoming.
Good restaurant on site and excellent pool.
Room also lovely.
Nothing.

A super peaceful retreat tucked outside of the city.
The AC didn’t work very well,
Which wouldn’t be an issue of it wasn’t so hot outside. However, the staff was efficient enough to bring us an extra standing fan.

Check in was a little confused

The grounds are lovely.
The staff did not have great English and therefore communication wasn’t good. I would suggest pamphlets/brochures to better commuicate the services.
To advice as an adult co lodge is a bit of a joke. There was rubbish in all the trees lining the river and burning rubbish literally just outside the hotel entrance. I believe they have the responsibility to clean up and care for the local surroundings if they claim to have such great eco credentials. We also noticed staff smoking on the grounds and dropping their cigarette butts in the garden!
It is quite far away from Hue which we didn’t mind but the fact that you aren’t able to get food delivered was a real negative for us. There wasn’t great food options for kids on the hotel menu so we were forced to travel into town every night so our kids could eat.
On the food side of things, a lot could be done to improve the breakfast. Again, not many options for kids and there were at least 3 other families staying there whilst we were there. They don’t have a toaster, just a really old and slow oven so it was a 15-20 min wait to make our kids toast every morning.
We had originally booked 2 rooms and then decided at the last minute to change our booking, which I’m so glad we did. We ended up booking just 1 room for the 4 of us which had 2 beds. It was 1/3 price of our original booking. I would have been really annoyed if we’d stuck with our original booking as it definitely isn’t worth the price in my opinion.
