This was actually my second time staying at Emanuela’s place over the years, and once again, everything was perfect. Coming back after all this time and having the same wonderful experience says a lot about the quality and care she puts into this place.
Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
What makes La Via del Mare truly special, however, is Emanuela. She is genuinely one of the best hosts I have ever met — incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. She makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The breakfast was also fantastic — fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day.
I can honestly say that I would choose staying with Emanuela at La Via del Mare over a five-star hotel in Taormina any time. The personal attention, warmth, cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience are something that even many luxury hotels cannot offer.
After staying here twice over the years, I can confidently say that whenever I return to Taormina, this will always be my first choice.

Emanuela was very hospitable. The location was ideal, only 10mins max from the main street. She looked after us very well, felt like family. Would highly recommend her. She even let us leave our belongings in the room after checkout for the rest of the day.

The landlady is nice and helpful. The view is quite amazing and there’s a little terrace to enjoy it, although not fully separated terrace.
The room (largest room of the two) was a bit like stepping into a cave: deep, dark, with old uncomfortable beds, mouldy smell in the bathroom and largely used for various storage.
