An unusual place, the Hotel Akadamie is a self catering hotel run by, and for the benefit of, a local sports team. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped. It has all you need for a short stay (we had 4 nights there). There’s a small kitchenette, with a fridge, toaster, coffee machine, etc – even a small hob for cooking – we almost missed that, as it is a plug-in standalone hob – worked perfectly though. There is a small balcony for when the weather is good! The hotel has free parking outside, good wifi, and there’s a Lidl supermarket a few hundred metres away – perfect for fresh bread in the morning.
The hotel is in a rather scruffy part of town, but it’s a short walk into the centre, with a wide range of shops and restaurants.
