Tranquilidad, calma y confort

Mi estancia en Soca Garden fue genial, un lugar tranquilo entre la naturaleza, a 20 min caminando del centro de Ubud. Llegue de madrugada al alojamiento y Made me estuvo esperando para recibirme, mostrarme la habitación y conocer que quería para desayunar al día siguiente. Desayuno bueno, donde tienes varias opciones para elegir y te lo traen a la mesa de tu terraza, genial para comenzar el día sin preocuparte de buscar una cafetería y disfrutar del desayuno con calma. La habitación dispone de aire acondicionado y todos los días acomodaban y barrían mi habitación, cosa que agradecía cuando volvía después de disfrutar de estar fuera durante el día. No pude elegir mejor sitio para mi llegada después de días de viaje y varios vuelos.

Cosas de vivir rodeados de naturaleza y en una zona más local, a las 3am solía cantar un gallo que estaba detrás de mi habitación y al amanecer igual, cantaban varios gallos. Pero como digo es algo habitual en Bali y de estar rodeado de naturaleza.

Beautiful room with a view

Beautiful room with big window and view of a fish pond, comfortable bed. Air con worked well. Breakfast was delicious, especially the banana pancake! They do scooter rental too!

Super séjour

La gentillesse des hôtes qui nous ont très bien accueillis et aidé à réserver un bateau pour les îles Gili. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. La maison est calme et située tout près d'une rizière. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon. Nous avons passé un super séjour !

Authentic stay with a lovely Family 🙏

We enjoyed our stay at Soca Garden house very much. Soca Garden House is a family runned business, which leads to a beautiful familistic environment. The hosts are super nice and very attentive. We had very good conversations that we will always remember. The rooms are simply furnished but absolutely adequate. The breakfast is very tasty and the Boss will even re-season the food, if needed ;) The location is on a great spot because it’s very close to all major excursion destinations (Monkey Forest, ubud Palace, temples, etc) and the city, but also it’s very quiet. You will live like the locals and always come into contact with them. They will provide you with a motorcycle for a Price that is cheaper than usual. He will also book tours for you.

Incredible hosts, good central location without the busy-ness, good breakfast, clean, big rooms, great value for money!

The hosts are incredible, they made me feel so welcome, all times ! I’ve stayed there a few now as it’s important for me as a solo traveller to feel grounded where I stay and they make me feel grounded there. Very attentive and so friendly - the whole family are. Really make you feel welcome. Great size rooms, cleaned every day. They bring your breakfast to you each morning. You can get laundry done here if needed. Nice big terrace area. A good location as in the centre but out of it because you have to go through rice fields so a little more tucked away out of the hustle and bustle.

They have started some work next door which may cause a little noise

Amazing! I know Ubud area is very well, because previously I’m live in here around one year, and change many many location around the city. If you walking without Scooter, it’s around 20 minute from centre. The half of distance between calm and quiet Rice fields. We are staying in duplex apartment with river view. The owner will be very friendly, and we happy to stay 14 days here

Gorgeous home stay !

It’s an amazing place that has good energy, a very nice family and the room was big, comfy and very clean in a very nice neighbourhood with rice fields yet close to ubud centre. All round I’m looking forward to returning. Loved it - thank you made and to your family

It was spacious and had a nice view; the host is exceptional and friendly! Amazing stay overall, would recommend!

The room was slightly dusty with insects here and there, though for the price it's well worth it (those with allergies may still want to look out).

House: Clean. Our house had 2 floors with view on the pound. Staff is incredibly nice. Breakfast: we had options for breakfast and could choose the time. The location: is 20 mins away from Ubud downtown, next to the rice field. View: is amazing. Facilities were new

Since it's very close to the nature we had geckos and ants in the room. But not a big problem. Also the water pressure in the bathroom wasn't that strong. And there is no blanket covers, but I am sure if you ask the host they will provide one.

I went there exhausted after a workshop in Malang, when I left there I felt refreshed.

The owner is a nice and helpful person, and , to say, knowledgeable too. I like the peaceful and convenient. neighborhood. The breakfast is good for starting a productive day.

Everything was great, the room was comfortable, spacious, the staff was super friendly. We loved our window door literally opening onto a pond. The owner also sorted out a scooter for me very easily and with a fair price.

Nothing really. Perhaps the location is a bit secluded and a bit far from ubud city center, but that also means it's a peaceful place

Peaceful and quiet place, with a beautiful garden and very kind hosts

We spent one night at Soca Garden and had a great time. It was a fantastic feeling to arrive at this quiet place after the busy Ubud center. The family was very nice, they helped us with everything, showed us the property and we had a good conversation with them. The breakfast was super delicious, which we ate sitting on our terrace. The garden is beautiful green and has a very good atmosphere. We are glad that we stayed here.

Superb

The hosts were amazing. They were so accommodating and took us around Ubud for a small fee. The banana pancakes at breakfast were amazing. The location was a 20 minute walk from city center surround by beautiful rice fields and trees. The price was very very reasonable.

Honestly everything was amazing. The pressure in the shower could of been better but thats just me being really picky.

The room was not the one I booked and no solution was given to fix this. The ad now *still* displays the room that is not available as it's rented long term to other people

THE ROOM IN THE PICTURES IS NOT THE ROOM THAT IS ADVERTISED. The first 13 of 16 pictures is of a room that is rented long-term to other people. The room I was given is on the ground floor, has no balcony and very small windows. When I named this on arrival, I was given no apology and offered no slution. Instead the host blamed the marketing department. I see that now, nothing has been done to fix this and the a still shows a much nicer room than the one you will get.

An absolute gem of a guesthouse!

Everything... This place is fantastic! My partner and I stayed for two weeks and then extended our stay for a further week. Yes, it is a bit of a walk to the city center but with scooters to rent and grab, it wasn't a problem at all. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was large and SO CLEAN, the shower was great and had hot water, the AC worked very well, the breakfast was lovely and the hosts are amazing! The hosts who run this guesthouse are truly so kind and accommodating. What a gem of a place in Ubud!

Favorite Ubud Homestay

The room was perfect, very big and super clean with a good size terrace to chill and have breakfast. Location is a bit away from the city center (5-6mim scouter ride), so it is very peaceful there. Also, the owner, Made and his family are so nice and helpful. I had a great time talking to Made. They have a laundry service (very cheap!) And a small shop for snacks and drinks. Very comfortable to spend time and chill there.

Fantastic stay

Soca Garden was really clean, comfortable with beautiful relaxing surroundings. Made and Kator were so hospitable and friendly and had great knowledge of the local area. We also really enjoyed the breakfast - there were lots of different options and all really tasty! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very nice place to stay in Ubud. The room is very comfortable, perfect cleaning, quite and with a view on the beautiful garden of the house. The owners are very nice and can help you for everything. Also the position is convenient and you can rent a scooter with them.

The best accommodation we had in Bali!

Everything was perfect here! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The location is also perfect and central, everything can be reached on foot. Nevertheless, the accommodation is quiet. The scooters can be rented directly at the accommodation and have a good quality. The breakfast is very tasty! Especially good was the banana pancake, but also the nasi goreng and the fruit platter are highly recommended. We felt very comfortable here.

Beautiful setting with kind and inviting hosts - wonderful!

One of the best places we stayed during our time in Bali. The setting of this guest house is beautiful, right amongst the jungle and the rice fields and I can't begin to explain how lovely and accommodating the hosts were (especially Lance) during our stay at this guesthouse. Breakfast was provided at the requested time on our balcony each morning whilst we sat and looked out at the gardens and listened to the sounds of the jungle! Based on the price per person, this place is an absolute bargain. Good strong aircon and clean bathrooms and bedroom. The host Lance is also a tour guide and was so accommodating in driving us around to the places we wished to visit during our stay in Ubud.

The only slight downfall (and this isn't even a downfall in my opinion) is that it is roughly a 25 minute walk to Ubud centre so if you are going back and forth to the centre you may want to have your own scooter. If you do not wish to walk and you don't drive though, it is easy to organise transport with the hosts.

Loved the stay, totally worth the money!

The host and his family are so amazing. They're sweet, accommodating and very sincere. We loved the breakfast prepared by them, they're very thoughtful. The house feels very serene, being wrapped in so much green.

The location can be tricky when you have to order e-hailing services but it's a easy solve by just entering a different address. It would also be nice if the room has fan as an option rather than just aircon.
