The apartment and location are superb. The check in process was however a nightmare. We arrived late at night after a 14 hours flight and it took the concierge more than 40 minutes to let us in. After that he needed more than an hour to find the apartment we rented.

Main issue was that one of the showers did not have any hot water. Other than that the place was very nice and in great location close to all the fun and dining in south beach.

The property was as described and the location was great. Walk across the street to the beach, easy walk to many restaurants, bars and shopping. Two bedrooms and two baths worked well for our group of three. Owner was very responsive on any questions and the facility had 24 hour onsite support if needed.

This was my second time this year staying at The Carlyle and both times (in different units) have been great. The property cannot be beaten for service and location and the onsite team is very attentive. Special thanks to Lillian for taking such great care of us!

The location is awesome, right in the center of ocean drive. The condo was clean nice furniture . Getting in and out was easy. The bad, no hot water in the master bath shower, but it worked in the tub. The master bath toilet had an issue and we had to lift the lid and bump the float to get it to refill. There was four of us and only had a small coffee pot and 3 cups. Lastly, the listing says parking, but it’s for a municipal garage across the street that was temporarily closed to the public so we have to park in a garage 5 blocks away. Not optimal, but not a deal killer for us. We use a CPAP machine for sleeping and there was no outlet in the smaller bedroom but building staff was kind enough to provide an extension cord. The location was so good it made up for the bad and we enjoyed our stay, if these small issues are corrected We would definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable, well-maintained 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of it all. Steps to the beach. Short walk to Lincoln Road Mall, Espagnola Way, restaurants and bars. Easy check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

As close to the beach as you can stay, beautiful art deco building, right in the action of South Beach, but peaceful at night too. Before the trip I wondered if noise at night might be an issue, but the soundproofing was great, throw open the window to join in with the South Beach atmosphere or close them up for some cool and quiet! Secure building and felt very safe walking around the area at night. Lovely clean spacious apartment, had everything we needed and the beach chairs, beach towels and sun umbrella provided were perfect. Big comfy beds and both bedrooms on-suite Short walk across the park to the beautiful beach, white sand, warm water and lifeguard monitored. Washer/dryer in the apartment meant we could pack light, full kitchen so could eat in or make use of the array of restaurants along Ocean Drive. Discounts given if eating in the Birdcage Café downstairs. After we had unloaded, we parked overnight in the Municipal parking next door, before dropping the hire car off, no problems. Would highly recommend!

Had a nice stay in this converted Art Deco orel. Excellent location where the movie The Birdcage was filmed. Adequately appointed. Everything within walking distance. Discounts at the restaurant on the first floor. At checkin Lilianne was very helpful. The checkin process should be better explained. Have to pull up in front of the Carlisle and unload. Someone has to stay with car. Then have to actually go up a ramp into restaurant to get to elevator to take your stuff upstairs. Best to send someone to check in first. Parking is problematic. Public garage near but costs $20 day with no in and out. Wen we arrived on a Saturday it was full. Used valet parking (down the block not in front). They were fine at $40 night. However once we got there we did not use car because everything within walking distance. Despite the above an excellent place to stay

Very nice stay at this property! Pros: The location is amazing, just across the beach and where all the action is happening. The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms and bathroom for each one. The stuff is really nice and helpful. The building is clean. Cons: The mattress in the master bedroom of unit 4C needs replacing right away! One side is not usable. We basically slept on half of the bed. The ad on the VRBO website shows parking as part of the amenities. Parking is not included, though.

This property was quite frankly the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Fantastic location right on Ocean Blvd BUT with great sound insulation for those late night street activities! The unit has everything for a short or longer stay with a fully equipped kitchen and deluxe 2 bedroom bathroom/bathroom combos. Lilliana the Concierge was fantastic in sorting out a couple of bumps (burnt out light bulbs and unique master bedroom bathroom hot water operation) that were quickly sorted out in hours. This unit had beach towels, chairs, umbrellas literally everything. Carlyle Cafe on main floor was OK but expensive. Good for first night perhaps but way more choice on Ocean Collins and Washington Avenues and much cheaper. A great stay but too short!! We'll be back.

Location was perfect, we can just walk out to the beach. We did not know parking doesn't come with the property and we came during New Year's eve, all the roads were blocked and parking was expensive and difficult to find. But nonetheless, still would recomend this place. Property was clean and owner was easy to contact. Thumbs up!

Beautiful property right on the beach. Very clean and the staff are super kind and friendly. Pretty much everything you need is within walking distance. The restaurant down in the lobby has really good food but a little pricey, but you can expect that being an ocean front property.
