The owners were super helpful and nice. Parking was easy. Breakfast was superb. In-house onsen was great. It is right in front of a bus stop leading to nearby ski resorts.
I did want to say thank you to the lodging for saving us during a snowstorm, when our car wouldn't climb the hill back to the accommodation and night was falling. They came and picked us up at a random 7eleven parking lot, helped arrange for our car to be looked after, drove us back up to the lodging and brought us back down to the 7eleven to collect the car, clean the snow off the car and help us throughout the ordeal. At no point did he sigh or seem unhappy - God sent!
That i had to leave early, since my husband hurt his knee snowboarding.

Hosts are very hospitable, breakfast was homely.
Shower is inside the shared onsen (gender-separated), can be a little uncomfortable.
