There was nothing I did not love. Villa Victor Louis is everything I look for in a hotel. The room was exquisite. From the furniture to the draperies and the marble bathroom with its partially enclosed marble-walled alcove for the tub, I was so smitten. Hélène, the owner’s daughter, could not have been more helpful when she oriented me to Bordeaux. My stay was so perfect that I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Bordeaux ever. Breakfast is delicious, abundant, and worth the 15 euros. When I say this hotel is a 20 out of 10, it is not an understatement.

Quaint, converted house. Bed comfortable. The one staff member was very helpful.
A lot of stairs to the attic room. Small bathroom jammed in. No tea or coffee in the room.
