Staff are all really friendly. We love the area and the convenience to gare du nord and gare de l'lest. Good breakfast selection.
Just a warning, it is a very small lift but obviously there are stairs too.

Powerful and effective aircon, which during a 'canicule' was a blessing.
Room was also comfortable and staff were super helpful and kind.
Remember its Paris. Don't expect large rooms.

The hotel definitely has character, very cool design and really wonderful staff. The breakfast is quite good, and the location is amazing.
The rooms did not correspond to the pictures at all, instead we had black walls, black carpet and very dark, tiny rooms with basically just a bed in it, more like a prison cell and less like an ibis hotel room with at least a shelf or so. The door didn't open a few times and one could hear through the walls. I guess the rooms are too small to fit anything else, but even the small stool was black, all very depressing and small. The pictures are bright, with a yellow wall and friendly, but our two rooms were black on black, small and spartan like a cell.
