We've stayed at a few Mercury Hotels around the world, and this one in Tokaj was by far the best. Overall we had a really great time and would happily come back.
The room was comfortable and spotless, and the AC was a great addition. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, a vanity kit, and other essentials. One small thing that could be improved is the hair dryer — ours kept switching off on us throughout the stay, so a more reliable one would help.
Breakfast was superb — the pancake machine was a particular highlight, we loved it so much we want one for home! The restaurant food was good too; we had pizzas and a burger, both very tasty, though one of the pizzas (the pesto one) was over salted.
Restaurant service was a mixed bag. One of the waiters, a friendly guy with tattoos, was excellent — kind and attentive. Unfortunately the rest of the service needs work. We sat down for lunch on the terrace and waited about 10 minutes without anyone bringing menus, and when we went inside to check, the staff were sitting around chatting. We ended up grabbing the one menu left on a nearby table and never got a second one. Service was generally slow. On another evening we came in just for a drink, and as soon as the waitress realized we weren't ordering food, she became noticeably dismissive.
That said, one of the absolute highlights of our stay was the receptionist, Bence. He noticed it was my boyfriend's birthday at check-in, and by the time we got back from the pool he'd left a bottle of wine in our room with a genuinely heartfelt handwritten note — such a sweet gesture. He also remembered our checkout time and was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Value for money was very good. One suggestion for improvement: it would be great if the TV had Netflix access or at least a couple of international channels.

Nagyon szép tiszta minden, kényemes az ágy, illetve szuper a szobához tartozó terasz. A kinti medence, napozó rész is nagyon rendben van. Kedves és segítőkész a személyzet. A reggeli nagyon bőséges és finom!
Sajnos csak egy lift elérhető ami kissé lassúvá, nehézkessé tette a közlekedést a negyedik emeletre. A benti parkolóhelyek száma elég limitált, nem tudtunk bent parkolni, amit egyébként utólag tudtunk meg, hogy feláras lett volna.

The rooms and the swimming pools where good. Good location. Good restaurant too.
The very bad thing was that, in 4 days, nobody cleaned and tidied up the room, despite it should have been a default daily service. A shame for a 4 stars hotel.
Moreover, they answered that a double bed would have been available, and when we arrived only twin ones were.
