Sigmund Eat and Sleep is a truly beautiful small hotel. It’s located in a fabulous part of town, right by the river. As soon as we arrived, we were made so welcome by the wonderful team. We chose a single level room on the first floor. It was beautifully appointed with lots of space for suitcases and storage. The bathroom was the largest we have had in our 6 weeks in Europe with a separate shower and bath. We also enjoyed a gorgeous meal on the balcony at the restaurant. All the ingredients are locally sourced and lovingly prepared on site. This really is an outstanding place to both stay and dine!

Besonders hervorzuheben sind drei Dinge. Erstens das herausragende Personal und Geschäftsführer Wilson, der ein perfekter Gastgeber war. Man hat sich von der ersten Minute an Willkommen gefühlt. Zweitens die außerordentliche Lage direkt im Zentrum als ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für jede Arten von Spaziergang, Wanderungen und Erkundungen des Ortes. Schon vor der Ankunft war die Kommunikation herausragend gut und auch bei der Reservierung eines Parkplatzes wurde alles möglich gemacht. Und drittens das Essen im Restaurant - absolut exzellent und unbedingt zu empfehlen. Hier wird mit viel Finesse und Können der Gaumen des Gastes verwöhnt und hohe Kochkunst zelebriert! Chapeau & Bravo!
