Ed is a fantastic host. We hadn't thought about it being a Sunday & he came to the rescue, with cooking a wonderful meal . Followed next day by a huge choice at breakfast.
Parking is available right outside & the town is a delight to walk round.
Nothing not to like. Totally recommended.

Ed is fantastis from moment 1. The hotel is a beautiful old housse well decorated. The breakfast was the best we had on the week long journey.

The location next to the river and by the big steps made for stunning views, and I loved the sound of the river. Ed was really nice, the breakfast was generous and good, parking was near the front door, and our stay was just easy and very pleasant. It was very casual, which added to our sense of relaxation. I would enjoy staying again. Appreciated that there was a little fridge and microwave available as well.
If it were me, I'd revamp and rearrange the decor a bit, and fix up outside areas. Still didn't really affect our stay.

Ed was such a fantastic host. Such a cosy hotel he has. And he went above and beyond to make sure we could enjoy our breakfast outside of normal hours. A fridge, microwave and water boiler are available for use which were very convenient in our case.
