This is the most peaceful place I've ever been to, after the Maldives. From the pool area you can take the steps directly to the lake, where you will find a lovely beach with crystal clear waters. I would recommend water shoes to walk over the rocks in the shallow parts. One night we had dinner on the hotel restaurant's terrace , and we were the only people there. The food was really good, but what was better was the silence - the only sound was the lapping waves. I visited during the week, and I was informed that the hotel might be a bit loud during the weekend as it hosts private events - so this might be worth considering when booking the dates.
A heated indoor pool with a mirrored ceiling which my daughter loved. I appreciate that this hotel allows kids to enjoy the indoor pool along with the adults. It was not busy during our stay.
The breakfast was varied with quite a good choice, but still falling slightly short of what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. There is no bar service for coffee, for instance, and everyone is left to their own devices at the machine. The bread was dry, seemed to be defrosted, and that was a disappointment given all the bakeries in Ohrid with daily fresh bread. Serving dishes were also constantly left open by patrons, and the food got cold.
The room was on the small side and the children's foldable bed was really hard, and the fridge froze all our drinks - but the rest of the room amenities were ok.
The outdoor infinity pool has a breathtaking view but was ice cold on both days we tried swimming in the afternoon.

The location near the lake with trees and greenery was great! Facilities a bit outdated. They try to keep them clean....
Food is not bad, but choice is very limited.
The beach is nice, but beware of sharp stones that cut feet.
Old facilities, outdated.
Not super clean.
Single beds are very narrow, the most narrow in many years in hotels I have seen.
There was construction on site, so there was a noise all day and stairs to the beach were closed.

This is NOT a 5-star hotel. However, we appreciated the free parking included in the room rate, the breakfast, and especially the incredible view from our room terrace overlooking the lake.
The hotel is currently under renovation, which is noticeable throughout the property. The bathroom door in our room was in poor condition and needs urgent repair. Overall, the entire building appears to require significant refurbishment.
The sauna had an unpleasant smell, and the tiles in the swimming pool area are visibly damaged and deteriorating.
Many small details throughout the hotel would benefit from proper attention and maintenance — a skilled handyman would certainly have plenty to do, from repairs and finishing touches to thorough cleaning.
It would also be helpful to install a clear sign indicating where the swimming pool is located.

Nothing much! It is 3 star hotel, with 3 star design and decor, with 3 star service and 3 star food.
Everything. I regret having paied a 5 star price in a 3 star hotel. The decor is dated and only fit for a 2?or 3 star hotel. Rooms are básic. Public rooms are básic. Breakfast is poor. Service is basic. The pool area Was renewd and it is nicer but the area for shadows is very small for the scale of the hotel and number oh guests in August. We were there for 3 days and never got a sun bed acailablle. The beach area is public and dirty. There are much nicer beach áreas Around the lake so there is no need to pay the price they charge to stay in the Inex.
