On check in we had been upgraded to a huge room with a great balcony and view of the port.So relaxing to watch the ferries .We stayed in hotel and had a fabulous evening meal.The waiting staff were very 'polished' and service great. The early morning shuttle bus to airport was great and 'speedy ' taking a coastal route taxis avoid. We hope to use again on our next Greek island trip.
Hotel don't arrange a meet taxi at port as Avra is a close location.
As elderly(78) but luckily fit, we were refused a yellow taxi on arriving at the Seajet quay. All wanted longer 'airport ' fares. Avra is a bit of a walk in the heat with cases etc. One taxi wanted 50€ for a 2 minute ride!!😵💫! So we walked slowly and did it ourselves.But next time will investigate this more! Avra is fabulous non the less !✔️✔️✔️

Free shuttle for airport, right overlooking ferry harbour, restaurants nearby. Hotel restaurant very good.

The shuttle was easy to use by following the instructions provided. I ate at the restaurant and used the included discount, and enjoyed a walk along the water. The staff were very helpful in directing me to the supermarket within walking distance to get items that were in some delayed luggage. This was a great option for a single night stopover in Athens!
I have no complaints!
