The location is just at the edge of the city, only a few km (about 10 minutes drive) to the historical center of the city. The staff was most attentive and accommodating - 5 star! All the rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. The front ones have larger terraces. We had an extra long queen bed in our room. The rooms have individual air conditioners. There is a very good buffet breakfast. The swimming pool was large enough for groups, with sunbeds and a cafe/bar. The hotel has parking (covered), which is another good reason to stay here. Parking in the center of Ioannina is a nightmare. There are some nice tavernas within 15 minutes walk.
I would have liked a safe in the room. It is an older building, so limited electrical outlets, as expected. Therefore, no kettle. The lobby could use updating for more comfortable seating.

Πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Χαρήκαμε ιδιαίτερα την πισίνα, καθώς και το άνετο πάρκινγκ. Η διακόσμηση ήταν πολύ προσεγμένη, με όμορφες λεπτομέρειες, όπως οι κούνιες και οι υπέροχοι κήποι, ενώ ο φωτισμός του κτιρίου ήταν εξαιρετικός. Σε κάθε σημείο ήταν εμφανές το μεράκι και η αγάπη του ιδιοκτήτη για το ξενοδοχείο. Εκτιμήσαμε, επίσης, ιδιαίτερα την προθυμία του προσωπικού να ανταποκριθεί σε ορισμένα ειδικά αιτήματά μας σχετικά με τη διατροφή των παιδιών μας.
Κάποια μικροπροβλήματα λόγω παλαιότητας χρειάζονται συντήρηση. Για παράδειγμα, το χερούλι της μπαλκονόπορτας ήταν σπασμένο, με αποτέλεσμα να μην κλείνει εύκολα το παντζούρι. Επίσης, δίπλα στην πισίνα υπήρχε ένας χώρος όπου παλαιότερα λειτουργούσε τζακούζι. Καθώς πλέον είναι ανενεργός, συγκέντρωνε φύλλα και άλλα υπολείμματα και δημιουργούσαν μια μικρή εικόνα εγκατάλειψης. Θα πρότεινα είτε να συντηρηθεί και να επαναλειτουργήσει είτε να απομακρυνθεί πλήρως.

Breakfast was good
The hotel pool was open to the public. When we returned from a hike the car park was full. Cars were parked in front of the hotel and there was no spot for us (the guests) . When we went to the pool it was packed with locals. We went to lie on the sun lounge , but we were told a group of locals were waiting so we could not use the chairs.
The pool was not advertised as a public pool on the website.
Hotel was in an industrial area off the highway.
