Paid extra for sea view, worth every penny We were room only so cannot comment on food/drink

If pushed , the small old fashioned 2 door lift( we were on the 3rd floor) but it was functional and worked so no complaints

The location and room very good. We were delighted with the whole experience was restful and easy.

Location, style, staff, breakfast, comfort. I hate modern hotels and this was like an Agatha Christie adventure. Staff were faultless, polite and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Room was a bit small for the price and very limited toiletries which were not replenished but I didn’t care as the rest of the hotel was excellent.

The lift. I was on the third floor and the lift was the old style barrier gates which I will never go into. Room was slightly small for the price and the toiletries were sparse and not replace for the second day. TV was poor and needs modernization but I was out most of the days so it was irrelevant. Limited parking outside which needed care to avoid car damage but again just be careful.

Views from the hotel, clean with good towels. Food at the wedding reception was excellent. Breakfast had lots of choice. Good WiFi. Staff were very pleasant. .

Very expensive for what we had. We were also charged an extra £10 for parking, even though it was impossible to park safely on the road and it wasn't lit to walk some distance from the car park to the hotel. The hotel has 'faded glory' but the windows in our room didn't close properly, we had to climb into the bath for a shower, there was no makeup/ shaving mirror or tissues. A tiny TV. Small things but at £500+ for two nights, we have had better hotels than this.
