Great and comfortable apartment to visit Lisbon

Apartment was very clean and had everything needed. There even were some oil, salt and dishwashing soap. You can really feel the atmosphere of old Lisbon with wooden shutters and azulejo and comfort of modern world. Apartment is very close to Praça do Comércio and Lisbon cathedral (there is elevator 1 minutes from the house that takes you directly to cathedral). Close to all public transport and river. Terrace is really nice to watch sun raise. We didn’t experience any problems with noice. There was enough hot water for 3 adults to take shower.

It is no easy to understand how to close apartment so the first day we left it open without knowing it. So would be nice to have a bit more of instructions.

Great location

Noisy at night as could hear the entrance door buzzer/ opening and people climbing up the stairs. Also could hear the guests above.

Overall a very dated and poorly maintained apartment.

The location is good if you want to be in the busy Alfama neighborhood right by the Se of Lisbon.

The narrow and abrupt staircase to the apartment is extremely difficult to access even with the smallest piece of luggage. The sofa bed in the Livingroom practically broken and unusable. The pillows were of poor quality. The shower drainage got blocked after the first use. There weren't any coffee pods provided, not even for the first morning. We have asked, repeatedly for a place to store our luggage before the check-in time of 3:00PM just so we could visit the city but there was no possibility to do it.

Poor

Super good location, easy access to all.

Sadly the apartment smells really bad, it clearly mould and we and our things smelled really bad after one day. We lived at the top floor and the stairs to get there are long and narrow. lastly there were no way to lock the door from inside - felt unsafe.

Scam

I would like to share my experience With this appartement. The first night was great WE booked an appartment for 3 people and WE got a studio With a Bed for 2 people and a sofa. But the second day while WE were out on our way to Sintra by train, they sent us an email Without consulting With us before telling us that they have to move us to another room in the 5 th floor and that they will move out our stuff even if WE were not there. There were no room for discussion and they really didn't give us the choice. WE arrived later that day to find a tiny room which could not fit 3 people with only one bed. WE called them to explain the situation, the person on the phone seemed to have no Idea about the issue and ensured that the problem will be fixed. When WE got back to the room WE found an air matress on the floor, as it was late WE decided to sleep and talk to them the morning After. They changed the next day the mat to the tiniest most uncomfortable rolloway bed that WE slept on it for the next 3 days. What pisses the most With these people IS that they didn't take us seriously from the begining, they kept stalling us saying that they are sorry and that they will find a solution but unless i contact them they didn't Ask if everything IS ok With us. WE asked for a refund as we paid for a room for three people, two weeks After our departure and WE still don't have no news I really don't recommand this place, unless you want this kind of surprises in your vacation.

great location! bad shower drain.

the location is amazing. great access to the aflame area especially in June while the celebration for St. Anthony are on. music and food are everywhere.

unfortunately, there were ants. so don’t leave any food out on the counter. the main issue with the apartment was the drain in the shower. Your shower needs to be a like a Singapore shower, ie. get wet fast, then turn water off, lather entire body with soap, then quickly rinse this off. otherwise the shower pan will flood.

Fantastic location and comfort

Great location, modern facilities, easy check in and communication. It's rather pricy, but the location and comfort are worth it. Be aware that the stairs are quite steep and narrow.

Great location and decent apartment, but don't expect to have a pleasant night due to the noise

- Perfect location to explore Lisbon, and the apartment has al the necessary facilities

- The apartment is VERY noisy, you can hear every step right outside your apartment in the hallway and of your neighbours above, the owner seems to not have made any effort to isolate the place (e.g. the door is not isolated, and the floors crack), if you do book here try and get one of the higher apartments (more walking vs. more sleep) or get good earplugs - We were informed about legal requirements only on the day of arrival - There was no flexibility from the host to receive us and collect the tourist money when our flight was delayed

Cosy apartment

The location was really good, nice kitchen, really nice roof terrace to have breakfast in the sun. Good value for money

Our studio was at the fifth floor so it required some stairs.

Exceptional

Fantastic apartment, perfect location. Good communication with host. We had a fantastic stay and would book again.

Only moan was that the hairdryer was not very powerful.
