Beautiful location with balcony overlooking the sea, excellent quality food in the restaurant, friendly staff. Taxi organised from the hotel to the ferry port at the end of my stay. Bed super comfy, room clean and good shower. Budget accomodation, but if this is your thing as it is mine - primitive paradise! Then it doesn't get much better than this for the price. Also, swimming pool overlooking the ocean.
I didn't have a scooter (which is probably advised if you want to see more of the island), but on foot I still got to see enough, cime out of the accommodation and turn left to secret beach, with restaurants and bars on a studlnning beach, turn right Haad Yao, 7-11 and lots of shops, bars restaurants and another stunning beach and if you walk from the end of that beach up and over to Haad Salad Beach, again stunning (but be prepared for some hills!)
Nothing, this place is amazing and I will be back! Fantastic value for money.

We had a good time (spent 4nights), and all was good. View super nice, hammock on the balcony was the best feature. There was a super cute cat too.
We were staying near the pool so no hike was required, unlike if you stayed at the upper bungalows. All in alll, was good.
This might be a problem for some, although I didn't mind: Cleaning wasn't done everyday, and only after you made arrangements at the reception.
Also, even though the season hasn't begun yet and there were clearly only few rooms occupied, the prices were still high and wasn't possible to agree on a better deal

Super nice owners and staff, and the food in the restaurant was better than most of the fancier (and more expensive) food found at all the beachside restos. The bungalows are no frills, but mine was clean, insect-free, and the bed was comfy. Spent most of my time at the beach or on the patio so my needs were minimal.
Just be aware when booking that not all the huts have aircon and only a fan. I booked one without and had quite the sweaty week (my fault completely, but an important detail not to miss)! Also the water has a strong H2S (hydrogen sulfide) smell.

Bed was ok.
There was only one power outlet available and another one near the ceiling where it was impossible to plug anything in. The fan was not fixed in place. The bed sheet was too small and did not cover the entire bed. The electric kettle could not be plugged in because the cable was too short. The bathroom mirror was stained, and the refrigerator was dirty inside.
