Location and convenience to public parking. Perfect for an overnight stay with clean comfy facilities and cafes & restaurants & shops steps away. Very short walk to the lakeside

I was looking for a budget stay in Lindau-Insel and this was one of the most budget friendly one. My room was pretty small but I could use the shared fridge which was great.
The shared bathroom actually worked, I never had to wait for other guests to finish but still I found it and the shared toilets weird. Also the check-in was a bit weird as well because I told them that I'm going to arrive between 15:30 - 16:30 so that's when they should expect me. I actually arrived at 16:00, yet there was no receptionist available and even when I rang the door, noone answered until a kind lady who lived close to the entrance door opened it for me and said the receptionist was just here but now he's gone. So I waited for like 10 minutes until he actually appeared and showed me my room on the 2nd floor. No elevator for those traveling with big luggages. There's also no AC or fan at all and the room can get hot.
