IntroductionI recently completed a stay at Hôtel Marco Polo in Tangier, where I was accommodated in Room 20. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable experience defined by outstanding hospitality and a prime location. While the hotel gets almost everything right, there are a couple of plumbing and bathroom issues that management should address to truly elevate the guest experience. Hospitality & Service The absolute highlight of this hotel is its staff. From check-in to check-out, the entire team was brilliant, professional, and incredibly welcoming. I want to give a special shout-out to Hamza, who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the cleaning staff deserve immense praise; they are meticulous, highly efficient, and kept the room absolutely spotless every single day. Location & Dining The location of the hotel is perfect for travelers. It sits right in the heart of convenience, making it incredibly easy to walk to a wide variety of shops, sit-down restaurants, and quick fast-food takeaways.If you do not want to venture out, the on-site hotel restaurant is exceptional. We dined there and found the food to be absolutely amazing. The kitchen serves high-quality, flavorful dishes, and the pricing is very reasonable and budget-friendly for the value you receive. Conclusion Hôtel Marco Polo offers incredible value, brilliant staff, and top-tier dining in Tangier. If management fixes the bathroom drainage and adds bidet facilities, this hotel would easily earn a perfect

Room 20 Layout & Areas for Improvement While I highly recommend this hotel, my stay in Room 20 highlighted two specific faults in the bathroom that need fixing: Lack of a Bidet: The bathroom does not feature a bidet or a hygiene hand-spray, which is a missed opportunity for guest comfort and standard washing preferences. Drainage Issues: The drainage system in the bathroom is quite poor. Water builds up quickly during use and clears very slowly, leaving standing water on the floor.

All were kind They looked after our luggage and allowed to stay in the lounge for a little while Thank you staff for your kindness I will recommend it

Bath had a bit of rust but didn’t affect it
