Villas Jacquelina

We were in low season and were lucky we could upgrade to the appartment (at the birds nest), because the family room delux was having a humid smell and did not have a view to the birds). In the appartment we saw every day macaws in the trees which was realy great. The appartment kitchen and living room felt to be in open air because of the fly/insect screen, which was great. There were 2 separate rooms with airco...just perfect!!

When we arrived we were asked.to pay in cash to get reduction. But the reduction was less than 2euro, so I would have prefered to pay by card, because after 3days of asking to receive payement receipt (avoiding my credit card would be charged ) I finaly got the receipt, but it was claiming I still had to pay for the upgrade...which made me a little nervous. After replying that I already paid, I finaly got the correct receipt at checkout. Also the price asked for the appartment upgrade was higher than was mentioned on their website, I received message about AI system that decides on pricing...felt like scam, but I agreed with the price...I would be open and transparent to customers and not hide myself behind AI. Anyway the place was great asside from the interaction with the reception and the owner/boss.(though they were very friendly so overall I rate 8, but for the appartment I would rate 9)

Everything about this place was magnificent. I was nervous of where to stay as a female solo traveler. This spot was the highlight of my trip. This reservation was a super last minute change. However they immediately sent me helpful details and instructions. They even booked my airport shuttle providing great ease to my trip. Esteban was so gracious, kind, and responsive to every concern via email. The interns on staff Albane and neo were from southern France. They were super patient, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They made me feel right at home like family and made me company at Breakfast. They had my room ready even before my check in time. They setup an outdoor movie night even though it wasnt even on the schedule for the day. They answered all my questions on tips or advice of local transportation, food and places to see. The property was quiet, peaceful, and safe. Think Rainforest cafe vibes. The rooms and bathrooms stayed spotless. Even the guests were respectful in the sharing of spaces and bathrooms. It was walking distance to shops and food. Fresh warm breakfast is cooked for you on the spot by very sweet ladies every morning. I mean it was even better than the food at local eateries. Esteban was sweet to even give me breakfast on the house on my last day. The wifi service was excellent which made it easy to stay in touch with friends at home. The property is near a great Matcha cafe called alma dulce, fresh coconuts, supermarkets, and the bus stop that will take you to any beach inexpensively. Ill be sharing with all my friends of the unforgettable and sensational time I had at Villa Jacquelinas. Dont hesitate or overthink this place! Book it now youll have zero regrets.

That I had to go back to reality and not keep staying in such a wonderous and beautiful place.

Great service, clean and comfortable with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nice communal areas. Can get public bus from Quepos to Manual Antonio.

Location isnt very good - there is nothing around and need the car to go to town and restaurants.
