The location is perfect, in the heart of Medina. The view from the terrace is fantastic❤️. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Very helpful and friendly staff. Moroccan mint tea any time. Good breakfast.

We stayed in Riad Selma for two nights and would fully recommend it and would return to the Riad. The Selma riad is managed by wonderful people, mostly belong to an extended family, who combine kindness with effectiveness. From the moment they came to meet us in the near-by parking (an easy to get in and out lot), to the moment we parted, we experienced kindness and professional attention. The room itself was small but sufficient (we were offered a choice between two) for our purpose and fairly quiet. The location was perfect: within the old town (medina) but, blissfully, not in its centre, which allows the visitor to enjoy both the proximity to desired sights and, at the same time, to enjoy quieter and less crowded surroundings. The complimentary breakfast, which you can choose to have inside the top floor or in the open balcony above it (if it’s a sunny day), was good and consisted of excellent fresh juice, tea or coffee, breads, yogurt and various savory and sweet condiments to have the breads with. A tip for those, like me, who prefer to enjoy the best of local produce: ask to replace the butter with olive oil… following a chat with our host, we did so for the second day and were so delighted with our choice! So ask for olive oil (and tell them Jacob recommended…).

In an ideal world, a slightly bigger room but it was a good value for money.
