TRULY A DISAPPOINTMENT.

what did we like? the shuttle service. the sunny weather. the roosters and hens.

what didn't we like? NO BEACH, SEA WEED ODOR, MARGARITAVILLE MENU AND FOOD BELOW AVERAGE. NEED TAXI FOR EVERYTHING. NO OTHER RESTAURANTS ON PREMISES.... POOR ROOM LIGHTING. NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR 4 PEOPLE. TWO DINING CHAIRS AND A TINY TABLE....LIMITED CLOSET SPACE. ...... EVEN JIMMY BUFFETT WOULD BE DISAPPOINTED...., NEVER PLAYED HIS MUSIC....NOT ONCE ! WE WASTED AWAY OUR MONEY AND TIME AT MARGARITAVILLE... never again.

The view and stay was wonderful. I would come back again.

The grounds are beautiful, We stayed in building 12 on the mountain top and my 78 year old mother had a hard time walking down the stairs to the main restaurants or parking lots. There are shuttles but they was not a set schedule. It was a pretty good system but maybe double check how well people do with stairs when booking rooms.

The stairs were really hard for my elderly mother.

The staff , every single one of the employees were rude ! The only one that was nice was trying to sell us the time share and that was not in good taste it was toooo much info right when we got off a 13 hour flight

Great spot!

We loved it here! Our room was perfect. Had a beautiful ocean view. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms are up on a hill but there was always staff driving around picking guests up. The pools were awesome, especially the hilltop pool and swim up bar.

The only downside is we could not swim at the Beach at Margaritaville.

Pleasant staff, clean rooms.

The rooms were nice sized, clean and well equipped for a small kitchen. We enjoyed using the Margarita machine. Beds were very comfortable.

Not in a great location on the island. The property was maintained and once on property felt safe enough.

Lovely location. Skip the sales pitch.

The location is stunning. The facilities are comfortable. There are two swimming pools, and I swam in both. There is a nice beach at the facility and a nicer beach a short walk away. There are four hammocks. There are places to play pool and football and giant chess and other games. Every room has an outdoor sitting area which I enjoyed. There are great kitchen facilities in the room (everything but a stove)

The lighting in the room is awful. There’s no overhead light and the reading lights are focused on the end table, not the place you’d be lying on the bed and reading. You need a taxi to get anywhere and every taxi ride is $15 per person. The food at the restaurant is very ordinary. But by far the worst thing is that when you check in, before they give you the keys, they try to sell you a package that requires you to go to a sales lecture. After 10 hours of travel, I found myself saying over and over, “No, thank you. Can I have my keys now, please?”

Stayed for a week, this was too long. We were ready to go after four days. The property is beautifuL

The scenery was beautiful.

It was hard to find good food unless you left the resort. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. Not much to do, we tried to look for activities but no one could help us. Could not swim in the resort beach due to sewage runoff.

Horrible Customer Service and Resort Transportation but Great Rooms & Location

Great location and spacious rooms.

Terrible customer service, short staffed. and extremely limited cart (shuttle) transportation. This resort was amazing earlier in the year during “peak” season but was unrecognizable and horrible during “off” season. If you are traveling with elderly adults in your family/group than consider an alternative property.

Horrible vacaciones

Me molestó porque yo compré la estadía por la fotos de la piscina.y no está funcionando solo una pequeña que tiene arriba.. debería decir no está disponible la piscina y uno decide comprar o no me siento engañado yo iba con mi esposa de aniversario me tuve que ir a otras playas Serca que había en la isla porque incluso la playa de hotel es pésima y tampoco es como se ve en la foto de perfil..los empleados son bien amables y la habitación es muy hermosa..pero lo no me gustó fue el engaño de la piscina mejor pongan piscina en reparación para que uno sepas y no quede uno engañado.

St Thomas was absolutely beautiful, sapphire beach, magens bay, coki beach was more of a local beach

The views were beautiful, the rooms were clean, staff was excellent

The sargassum (seaweed) was horrendous, couldn’t utilize the resort beach, everything was expensive,

It was an amazing visit.

Amazing views, fairly quick shuttles around property, great staff!

Roosters and cats - two things that I did not expect to see at a resort. Some activities were cancelled and that was a bummer and the seaweed was smelly but otherwise great place to stay. I would definitely stay again.

Reasonable for our stay

Liked the infinity pool and location was convenient. Also the cabs were always lined up at the property so was very easy for us to get around and leave the property

Loved absolutely everything. I’m not understanding why this location doesn’t have outstanding reviews? this facility is amazing, loaded with everything you need. the pools, the restaurant, nearby beaches, the local food around.

golf carts (shuttles) take you to and from your room to everything around the resort, wait times for these shuttles may be a while sometimes like at night/when there’s an event on property.

It was ok. But I have stayed in better.

The view was amazing and the room was great

The walking distance from everything was crazy far. The shuttles were hard to catch. The price for drinks was crazy expensive As many shuttles we had to catch they all expected a tip which would have broke me. Taxi drivers were obnoxious when you are just waiting for a shuttle.

we expected a beach-type resort but this was everything except that!

island had a couple nearby places for traveling to

no beach on site. no view of water. no cleaning of rooms or other maid service. we checked out one full day early and the resort would not reimburse even partially for that day. all very surprising

It was a amazing experience

Love the activities and the work out classes. The instructor is the workout classes was the best!!

There could be more bartenders at the downstairs bar and the upstairs bar the bartender was not friendly at all.

Superb

tropical feel, 3 bars, restaurant. close to coki beach

I’ve been here 4 times. get gas powered golf carts. add 11- drivers. I hate being in the units up on the hill in this past trip. We were stuck up on the hill again. my husband just had knee replacement so you’re waiting 20 minutes for a tram driver if they even show up to take you down the steep hill to the main part of the property. also, one would think by now they would add a pizza oven and have pizza on their menu.

Poor customer service made this the worst vacation of our lives.

There were specific members of the staff who were friendly and provided service that met expectations. The young men driving the golf cart shuttle from main building to rooms and the one waitress at the restaurant.

The front desk staff was not helpful. They were more focused on upselling excursions instead of explaining how things worked. It appears as if they get a kickback from the Taxi company or drivers when they are able to over charge you for a trip into town. The beach wasn’t available and the resort didn’t provide enough regular shuttles to other beaches. I realize you are suppose to be on Island because it is your vacation but you don’t expect the staff to be on Island time. Lacked Customer Service all around. I am not adding photos because the best pictures are of the ocean and leaving. The Island is run down and Red Hook is nothing close to how the staff describes it.

Overpriced mediocre stay

The resort was pretty and landscaping was nice. We liked the proximity to coki beach

The room did not have a view as advertised and why we chose this hotel. The check in took a long time and waiting in line at 2 separate desks. It was very pricey for what you got, basically nothing included. The food at the restaurant was mediocre at best, super slow and the margaritas were terrible. The beach was pretty but lots of sargassum. Wouldn't have been too hard to have to cleared off.

Not a great place for any rest or relaxation.

Property has great views.

This is not a hotel. you get an apartment style room and are very clearly told that no one will clean your room. There is also no room service. There are two pools, but the large pool downstairs is very cold in January. The pool at the top of the resort is warmer and always full because of this reason. Overall this is a very “touristy” place with overpriced sugar-filled drinks (with barely any alcohol), but what makes it terrible is the management and reception staff. At several points the “hotel” ran out of beach/pool towels (which are a bit important) and the front desk staff and management could not care less. Everyone seems in a bad mood and do not enjoy their jobs. Additionally, our room was full of bed bugs so we all have dozens of bites, courtesy of Wyndham.

We had the best time on this resort with our children

We loved the general appearance of the Margaritaville resort and the atmosphere. The shuttles available throughout the resort was helpful considering how hilly the area is but worth the fantastic views and we burnt up many calories doing all the stairs when we didn’t use the free shuttle service and friendly drivers.🥰

Sometimes they ran out of pool towels or chairs but completely understandable considering it is their most popular season. And we just went to other pool area to get more towels. Not a big inconvenience

Worth the money, Great Stay !

Everything! I love love love this property. Checking in was a breeze, the lady whom checked us in was a whole Angel. Upgraded our room, showed us the best spots to get food and drinks. there is a restaurant on the property just incase you don't want leave. The facility was super clean and great presentation. The margarita machines in the room was an ultimate win. The rooms were wonderfully designed and decorated. The beach is Eh but literally a 3 minute walk to Coki beach which is nice. Very busy but good for drinks and good food. You will have to pay for lawn chair but its only $5. Also the way to coki beach stop by the big tree and get some fresh coconut water , or make a naughty and add rum. Delicious . Checkout was easy and very fast. I would definitely recommend and will stay again myself.

Okay if i must pick one thing and its hard id say the beach. It could be a little cleaner .
