Try somewhere else

Location - Not convenient Facilities - as not as mentioned in the description. (A/C didn't work, washroom was not clean as expected, no soap at least. TV was sealed with tapes. Very noisy. Doors had damage and even our sides can sneak into the room. Cleanliness - not satisfied Sea view - Not a good view. Suggestion - try another place.

Arrived no pre booked transfer waiting No bed sheet had to use towel No tv / streaming Patio window smashed so couldn’t use No restaurant in hotel No offer of treatments Bedroom door opened without use of key so bad security Couldn’t open heavy curtains to get the sea view Not 24 hr reception never anyone to be seen No robes / slippers etc etc

NICE GUEST.. HOUSE WITH SOME TOUCHES OF AYURVEDA IN SRILUNKA.

I liked a lot

One million rupies for 8 nights in Sri Lanka.. Asia is too expensive but when I consider the smiles.. With the HEART! OF BOSS and helpers... It was O. O FOR ME!!!!!!

Value, view, staff - in the dry season it might be the best budget hotel in Negombo.

Staff, location, view, value, and the best hotel bed ever. Not everyone will love the slightly beyond-the-tourist location, but I did.

Mosquitos, mosquitos, etc, The Sri Lankan air force were no problem the first night, but drove me nuts the second. (It was the height of the rainy season - they were in other hotels as well.) And the wifi hotspot would be much better with a dedicated modem.

Very basic

There was nice ocean view but over a main road and over a neighbor houses, had hot water

There was no WiFi,no tv, room was very hot day time , it was very basics .looks like this place having a hard pereiod .

Disappointing

The owner of the property being nice to us..he managed us to check in at 4am..

I went this property for my airport transit purpose, but after reaching the property only I came to know that after Covid and after this political changes I’m the first person entering this property 🥹 could be good property, but we disappointed very much about the cleanliness in the room, Floor looks very oily, towel smells horrible, no bed sheet 😭 no drinking water in room, No hot water 🚿 etc..

The location, washroom and rooftop is okey and I love it

There was no TV in the room, but they mentioned that there was a flat TV in the room and that I was expecting a TV which was the main reason I booked the hotel. And breakfast is not so good.

Great value for money

First of all the property is right at the city beach so you get a lovely view from the balcony and the roof terrace. Secondly my room was big and spacious with huge windows, a/c and ceiling fan. There was a mini fridge and a kettle! I even found two candy bars in the freezer :). I also appreciated the style of the rooms. The staff helped me with my bags upstairs and were very friendly and nice. I particularly loved the roof terrace. For such a price you get amazing value I would say.

It is a small simple hotel, the corridor and staircase were very narrow and dark. The bedsheets were dirty :(, i found some spots on them. Also was a bit noisy as the hotel is right at the main road. There was no internet, unfortunately.. so if you are planning to stay and work there, might not be a good idea.

Superb

Owner is the most friendly guy in the world. Helped us a lot and knows a lot. Verry good breakfast in the morning with a beautifull view on the fisherman that go into the sea on the old boats.

Location is a bit far from centre 5km. You gave to take a tuc tuc, but they are cheap.

The rooms are quite big with OK showers and beds. But that's about it.

Breakfast was poor and the balcony door didn't close properly, so bugs were getting in fairly easily. There was also some noise from some AC dripping, which was quite annoying.

Very kind hosts

It’s very close proximity to the beach. Stunning view from the roof-top terrace. Comfy room with balcony overlooking to the sea. This is the best place to see the so-called catamarans, the local fischermans boats. Not far from the place there are all kind of shops, eateries nearby. Lovely people running this resort. The owner does beyond belief everything for the guests. He also has a nice restaurant in Negombo, I definetly recommend it, very delicious courses on reasonable prices. We will use this resorr next time again for sure. Thanks Green Ayurvedic Beach Resort for your hospitality and care, you are wonderful!

Owner was very good and accommodating.

Negombo is good as a transit spot but using it as a main stay I have different opinion.

I see the vision, but no money to get it to that shape

Hostel has clearly really struggled during COVID and has only just reopened. Owner and staff are terrific, but the hostel needs significant work to get it to a shape to be rented.

Unfinished interiors, not cleaned (dried urine on toilet seat), no toilet paper etc.

The cosy place with a lovely host. Great value for money. Comfortable sea facing rooms with tasty breakfast included. Not to forget the amazing cups of srilanka tea they serve you with breakfast.

Great relaxed weekend with Green Ayurvedic Beach Resort

Green Ayurvedic Resort has an amazing staff which are much helpful, We were enjoyed with the full body ayurvedic massage and steam bath. All were done by professional therapists and conducted it in a very professional way. Their herbal tea was amazed a served homemade tasty dinner in the rooftop. After a very long time, we were able to watch stars and we really enjoyed it. Actually the rooftop is an ideal place to watch stars. The bed quality was also superb. Had a good sleep and breakfast and lunch also great selections. All were homemade tasty food and presentations were also good. It is a great place to visit which provides greater value to the money.

There is nothing but it is better if they can convert plug ops into square pins.
